    Looks rad... I'm in.

I loved Drive but hated Only God Forgives.

Refn is not a very good writer. Hence why Drive was a superior film to OGF. This one was written by a Baylor/Yale grad named Mary Laws.

I absolutely loved Drive...and I couldn't even get through Only God Forgives. So I have no idea what to expect from this movie.

Indie horror is usually the better kind of horror. I'll watch.

Hendricks was way too covered up for my liking. Will check it out for her and Jena Malone tho...

Ok, what am I missing.. Elle Fanning is NOT some kind of ethereal beauty... is she? She's not homely as such, but in no way does she belong in the category of 'beautiful'. And yet these directors can't seem to get enough of her.

    What gives?

I think she's a real talent. I'm with you... she isn't an otherworldly beautiful, but man, I've really been impressed with almost all of her performances. Her performance in Super 8 especially was just great, IMO.

Men. Didn't really get the eye candy. Movie doesn't look that good.

Give me Eli Roth's horror flick "Clown" any day of the week.

I like experimental films. I like David Lynch. This is my wheelhouse.

Oh yeah she can ACT, that's true. But I wish these producers or whoever it is would realize that and stop trying to shove her down everyone's throat as 'the new beautiful girl'.. it's not working.

I actually could see her in the role of a model. She's relatively tall, thin, pale, and certainly pretty. And seems lots of the models that make it are transformed by makeup and clothes. Even in the screen capture caught in the trailer above she has that beautiful blank expression of a fashion model.

btw, I had to google her to make sure she was 18 before even posting here.

    That's happening?

Anyway I think she's good looking, as far as her age group goes. But more importantly she can act. I'd rather have a less-than-stunning but great actress play a role than a stunning but poor actress play a role.

As for this movie, that trailer left me like like ehhhhhh. I really liked Drive but Refn is a really weird dude so it's hard to tell what will be good and what will be garbage. This is probably a Redbox rental for me.

Good call on Lynch. Minus soundtrack and visuals, the themes and creep-factor are probably more Lynchian in this one than they are truly in the horror genre.

This looks like Black Swan meets Lost Highway meets (?) ... Videodrome? LOL

If its a movie about models why not just hire models. They wouldn't even really be acting.
