Dream still believes <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/1xjIQumQ9Oc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I'd say it's the reverse. Clutch City comes from Dream's super positive attitude. He set the tone - literally.
Morey has a great influence on everyone with this notion that nobody should want to play us because we're dangerous . I get what he's saying though. The Rockets are a team if they turn it on and click, like against the Clippers after being embarrassed 4 straight games, they can still win. We have the talent. With the Jazz and Mavs, you know what you're going to get. We are like a crazy person, bipolar even. We can very bad but also very good.
He's just being nice. Barring major injuries, at this point in the season your record is a reflection of who you truly are. And this team truly sucks.
Not always. This is 100% an example about the importance of Coaching You cannot just roll the ball out there and say GO GET IT Rocket River
I have stood up for Dwight all season. His dominance in both playoff runs was enough for me to forgive his half season missed last year --as if you can really "forgive" a player for being injured-- and lackluster performance this season. All season it has seemed like Harden and the team have ignored Dwight on offense, not just on the block, but when he has guys pinned or is guarded by dwarfs. HOWEVER, lately and especially last game, Howard has appeared to have quit on the team. At one point he was in foul trouble at the beginning of a quarter and on a fast break he purposefully fouls...are you TRYING to get sent to the bench? Is he hurt? Is he pissed? Whatever it is, he needs to get his head in the game, because not appearing in most of the last 5 games is going to hurt his value for that long term big contract he is seeking for next season, whether it's with/out the Rockets.
only if dwert tries.. these past 10 games, he doesn't even look engaged. He's waiting for that big check in the off-season. Doubt he even shows up for the play-offs if we have 8th seed. It'll be like when that terrible Lakers team made the 8th seed with Nash and Dwight. He'll probably just throw a fit and get fouled out/ejected.
"If dey fockass, dey can accomplish anything. They just need to fockass." - Hakeem Olajuwon (what I'm imagining he said in the video before I actually watched)
When I was in Houston over March Madness weekend I got to briefly meet Robert Horry, I told him those early 90's teams were the reason I fell in love with Houston while everyone else here in Australia was on the Bulls bandwagon. He told me how great it was playing for Houston and how they were a great team, unlike the current one which is straight up trash. I couldn't help but laugh.
Dream can believe all he wants, but until he can figure out how to inject 1% of his competitive DNA into this team it's just nice words.
That must be Raptor's Hakeem talking, Tinman, not Gouken Hakeem. Your heart is in the right place though.
I love the Dream, as any self-respecting Houston fan does, but didn't he also say during the first round matchup against Portland that the Rockets "have no weaknesses"?
