and hopefully the Rockets get rid of all the players you mentioned with maybe the exception of Harden, DMO being fully healed for next year and KJ if he continues to improve is how I'm lookin at it
[Dwight] Well, Harden doesn't pass me the ball. I keep asking him to but he just refuses and stirs the pot in my face. I know I can average 20 and 12. Hakeem has been helping me with my free throws and jump hook (for the last 10 years)! One day I will get it down. I'm starting to think I won't be in a Rockets uniform when I do... [Harden] Blasé, blasé, blasé, blasé, blasé, blasé
DMO didn't even get 1 rebound in 12 min. I don't know if he will ever be good again after back survey. I am sick of Harden. They can both go as far as I am concerned. KJ hasn't shown he can make many 3's. I say start over and keep Beverly, Ariza, and Beasley. They bring the most effort defensively and can all score most of the time......and they are not hacking targets.
Wow! I can't believe it either! I feel like I have been on an emotional rollercoaster since I posted this. I feel like I have been chewed up, spit out, punched in the gut, and left in a desert dying of thirst, with a mirage of my Rockets in the distance holding a glass of water and saying....."We just need to play harder.......we can do this!"
I am still hanging in there with that last sliver of hope. I just can't do it. I can't jump to the other side and root for my Rockets to lose. My only satisfaction from losing out would be to hear a player speak up and admit some players were the reason McHale was fired, and their dirty deeds and stupid preference for a coach who they felt could hang with them outside of the court was a Huge mistake. I could be wrong, but my guess would be a man hiding behind a beard led that charge for change. Give our "superstar" what he wants to make him happy is the only thing that makes sense for a decision that rash and ridiculous so early in a season, especially when key players didn't even participate in preseason, and we're "getting into shape", "limited", and "still in rehab" when McHale got fired. I say......let go the ones who pushed for JB, and send them off to destroy someone else's team. I don't blame JB, unless he was in on the backstabbing. But......he has proven he isn't capable of getting our team where it needs to be.
As said before the last straw of hope Rox win couple of games and someone hand them the playoff spot on a silver platter It isn't honorable but the Rox would be in the playoffs, awaiting a date with GSW.
True on all of that. May I just add...........our Rockets organization dropped the "honorable"early early in the season when they kicked McHale to the curb before he even had his starters from last year healthy enough to contribute much. (DMO, Howard, and Jones)
Despite our team being very inconsistent all year long it is nice to read post from people like Deb and others expressing optimism. Sometimes you realize you need optimists and doubters to keep us balanced and grounded. Whatever happens I hope we will be much better next year.
Who knows. Maybe we will all wake up and realize it is only October 2nd. The Rockets are 2-0 after beating the Warriors the night before by 17 points. Curry is on ESPN saying Lawson really did make him play defense. Lawsons stats for the first two games is 17 points 11 assists 2 rebounds and a steal. Dwight is already 12-14 from the free throw line. And..... Screw it.
