Well as the establishment wishes to play the game you are right.

BTW in the 16 yrs of Clintons and Obama exactly what earth shaking legislation have they vetoed?

Also, we see Obama attempting to send a guy to the S. Ct who has voted for Citizen's United at the lower court level and voted to deny a mimimum level of habeas corpus to folks at Guantanamo which even the right wing S. Ct. reversed. Merrick Garland is a conservative who has worked most of his life as a corporate toady screwing the 99%. The average member

    oops

Funny how Hillary diehards forget Bernie fought against the bill from the beginning prior to many amendments while Hillary went around talking about "bringing superpredators to heel" and appealing to Southern white swing voters.

Funny how we would have had Hillary folks blasting Bernie for voting against the very same bill, which after many amendments offering things progressives like Bernie fought long for such as strong provisions on violence against women.

For Bernie supporters who speak Spanish.

I must say it loses something in translation

He’s the man with a vision
    to better this country.
    Running for president
but the rich don’t want him.
    Bernie Sanders is his name.
Now you're going to feel his burn.

New York is the state where he was born.
    Brooklyn where he grew up.
    As kid he started noticing
    the rich getting richer
and the poor working longer hours.
Still many don't make enough to survive.

    He's the son of Immigrants
who came in search of better lives.
    Working to succeed
like we all do every day.
We come here with the same dream:
Provide our families a better chance at life.

The rich and the media don't like him
and they’re scared that he can win.
He wants college to be free
    so our children can progress.
He believes health care is for all.
Not a business, but a human right.

Years ago, in Chicago, he was arrested
    for protesting against segregation.
He doesn’t care about the color of your skin
to him we are all children of God.
    Many call him Robin Hood
    others call him The Bern.

Fighting for the rights of the people
even law enforcement could not stop him.
He'll keep battling until he becomes
    president of this nation.
    Bernie Sanders is his name.
This is his corrido The Bern!

There really aren't Hillary diehards, glynch. There really aren't. You could say there are Hillary compromisers, I guess, much like she herself compromises (sometimes too much, I'd argue).

There are mos def Bernie diehards, however, who just cannot see any single flaw in their guy.

That's fair and understood. He has a nice explanation, but the fact remains I would love to see a list of results.

The reason some politicians look so non-ideal, the reason they've shifted and made compromises, is often because they wanted to get something tangible done.

These folks don't understand that being POTUS doesn't mean you're protester in chief. After basically holding up a giant placard for a year, the public is finally starting to realize that there is no substance behind the slogans. All it took was a little bit of media scrutiny for the man to come unhinged.

It's OK. It'll be all over after the NY Primary. Sanders supporters will crow incessantly from now until then about poll "surges" and what not, it won't matter. Not only is the state utterly unfavorable demographically for him, but it's a closed primary, and registration closed last October. He will get creamed. The ADHD-afflicted college crowd who can't be bothered to pay attention for longer than a few months will yell bloody murder after they are turned back by the thousands.

Then comes bargaining, depression, and acceptance - of Madam President come January 2017.

This is really going over your head.

People like Bernie because he is shining a light on the huge issues with our government and isn't a rhetoric dispenser like all the other candidates.

Its really not about winning, I think most Sanders supporters know he won't win, and new it from the beginning. The goal is to push the concepts into the spotlight and make them more mainstream, which he has absolutely done.

Without Bernie, Hilary wouldn't have to bend on anything. She would just have been the best candidate because the conservative opposition is such garbage. Now there is attention on some of Hillary's bad votes and big donors, which otherwise would be ignored. Bernie is making Hilary into a better candidate by forcing her more to the left, and opening the door for future progressive candidates.

You keep spouting this nonsense about substance, electability, and details of his plans. It was never about any of that.

So your saying the man has been running this campaign to move Hilary to the left without any hope of winning?

    He is an idiot...

The progressive narrative has been marginalized by corporate and military propaganda for 50 years. Ike saw it an opposed it. Bringing the progressive message before the public, where by the way, it is converting fervent believers, is hardly idiotic, it's bold. Remember the man is an independent, moving the Democratic party to the left, to counter the move of the past to the right, is God's work.

delete. Was creeped out by the fervor of another vortex-eyed Bernie supporter. Nothing to write home about, or even post about.

Actually you are correct to an alarming degree about Hillary. Some women over 50 are diehard Hilary supporters. That is why polls consistently show Bernie beating GOP nominees with a greater percentage than Hillary and Bernie cleans her clock by huge margins in caucuses, except for the tiny one in Nevada, where he just recently won by only a small margin

Do you actually think that Trump for instance will beat Bernie? or the unlikable Cruz?

Folks can see flaws in Bernie. It is just that he is better than Hillary and Obama and the weak compromisers who have led us to the decline of the Democratic Party and the loss of Congress by the largest margins in at least 75 years.

Why don't you point out some pf the ways you think Hilary and the status quo is so much better rather than focus only on you fear since Bernie is more leftist an OMG a democratic socialist like in OMG Europe that he will therefore automatically be beaten and you fear that somehow Trump or even Cruz will be the end of Western Civ.

Well he was a reporter at that radical media group CBS News. I guess Hillary did not want another Romney situation in which the public might hear what she actually tells her funders. Which reminds me, what did she say to the Wall Street bankers?

Clinton, who was holding a fundraiser Thursday evening in Colorado, was speaking outside at a private residence. Just when she started to speak, according to CBS Denver's Stan Bush, campaign staffers directed a speaker spewing out static noise at reporters hanging out across the street.

"Guess @HillaryClinton campaign dsn't want reporters to hear fundraiser speech. Turned on a static noise machine pointed at us when she spoke," Bush tweeted.
