I agree...I really liked Patriot Games, and Hunt For Red October...but after that it just got more and more technical as opposed to character oriented, and the plots seemd to be more and more obscure, like Madonna's need to push the envelope furhter and further to remain 'edgy' and disguise her lack of talent... The one where a nuke goes off in Denver during the SuperBowl, the plane into the capitol building...the stuff in Central America was ok, but Hunt and Patriot were miles above the rest; just better stories and the characters were better developed. Back then the technical stuff was exciting icing, later it became the cake and the characters seemed like icing.
Because he's mentioned it several times over the last few years, unless I'm mistaken. Pretty much whenever some chump says, 'Why should you care... you're just a Canadian!
I think that expecting many people to remember more than a very little bit about me just because I mentioned some things in the past would be getting a bit ahead of myself.
You might not think that had you clarified...and ( surprise) expanded on it at least 35 times in the past year. But the comment was more directed at the mainstays who keep missing this...it's almost as common as Republicans who keep telling me I only oppose Bush because I'm a Democrat... ...it was either yesterday or earlier today when another poster said " What's with all this " We " stuff. You're a Canadian. " Maybe had you had to clear that up as many times, and against as many kinds of likewise innocent questions as I have you'd mention the fact that you have mentioned this many times before round about the 40th time you'd had to do so....or maybe you're right and I'm just an ego-maniac.
I'll go with Dean. Poor Kerry. Just doesn't have it. I think Clark will destruct somehow, given his total lack of political experience. He seems to be a bit hot headed for a politician. I still think that Dean will take it. Dean-Clark would be good, if Clark doesn't have too much ego to be number 2. Actually VP would be a good position for Clark. It is sort of a staff position, without the heavy political lifting. I think Clark is just benefitting from the anybody but Bush mood that is going on at the moment. He'll start falling behind soon.
