    O'Reilly .

The reason I ask for ONLY the conservative point of view is we know he is not popular with those who have differing political views.

I don't like him. He doesn't offer much political insight, like Chris Matthews or Brit Hume would. All he does is give his opinions on issues without analyzing all the interesting intricacies of a topic. He's also an egomaniac.

I don't really watch him much. But when I have watched him, I've agreed with him sometimes, and I've disagreed with him other times. :)

He's an egomaniac, but just about anyone who has his amount of influence and fame is. He is one of the greatest investigative journalists of all time and I can respect that, but I think he's gone a little more sensational in recent years.

He started out strong, but I'm not too big on him, he seems to be out of touch with some issues that I have a definite opinion on...

I like when he emphasizes personal responsibility (the foundation of all my political stances), but on most other stuff, I could take him or leave him.

I find him to be a bit too full of himself and really am not fond of the way he presents his views.

Instead of reporting stories, he now attempt to become stories.

    Exactly.

I'm a conservative and although I agree with some of what he says, I still think he's a boob. I like to hear both sides of every argument and that doesn't happen on his show. He argues with guests just for the sake of arguing, sometimes even if they agree. That's when you know the whole thing is contrived. I like the show after his, Hannity and Combs. Much more "fair and balanced".

O'Reilly tries soooo hard to come up with his own catch-phrases like "the memo" or "the no-spin zone" or "the impact segment". It just reeks of tooting your own horn. He also assumes that if someone doesn't want to come on his show, they are scared of him. Gosh, Bill. Did you ever stop to think that maybe they just don't want to come on your show because they have better things to do?

I wish Drudge would get a show again. His radio show is great. Of course O'Reilly said "kill Matt Drudge" when Drudge criticized him.
