At least we didn't drop back. The rest should be ours to win.

But they were also on the road against crappy teams(Wolves and Suns). Memphis did lose and Portland is down at Golden State. So we will pick up ground on the teams ahead of Dallas and Utah which is good.

It's really simple for the Rockets. Win out and they're likely the 6th seed and possibly even the 5th.

    Roaming (definition)

    1. To move about without purpose or plan; wander.
    2. To turn the attention from one subject to another with little clarity or coherence of thought
    3. To be directed without apparent purpose; look in an idle or casual manner.

Harden may actually be a defensive genius - he's the guru of misdirection.

Harden is so under-appreciated man, he's got no help and basically carries this team night in night out. Pair Harden with another superstar and I guarantee you this team will be a legit contender.

Another amazing game for our maximum salary center. More personal fouls than points scored!

I miss the triple double Dwight we saw earlier this year. He just seems like a different player now. All the officials letting him get mauled when he has the ball, but not letting him get away with the same thing has taken the wind out of his sails. The frustration is evident. Not only that, but the hacking has brought him down too. Maybe he is really hesitating to hold the ball too much because he doesn't want the stress of struggling at free throws. Maybe being ridiculed so much for missing so many free throws, and feeling the pressure when losing so many games by close margins has gotten to his confidence. Maybe I am wrong, but whatever the reason, I know we need him to suckered it up and fight from now on out, and own that basket.

We should play smith more. Let Beasley or smith consume all of Brewers minutes

Super useful strategy when they have Roberson on the floor. He beat James backdoor for an alley once, but other than, they were playing 4 on 5 on offense vs us and James did a good job being active with help. Still don't understand how they cant find two shooters to surround KD and Russ at all times.

Who else noticed the fact that whenever Dwight was in the game the team was playing super slow, missing shots, and giving up the lead.

Right when he goes out, we went on runs and built our lead!

Man... I dont want this guy on our team anymore. He just doesnt fit! Im sorry.

Agree. I would like to see Capela and Smith in more with Dwight, and would rather Montejunas and Dwight switch out. When Dwight and Donte are in together it is like two big oafs. They can't get down court fast enough.

I have always defended Howard when people talked smack about his playing. He was clearly our best player in the Playoffs each year but sadly it looks like the end of the road. It just didn't work out when it was all said and done. Howard wants to still get the ball a ton of times in the post where he really can't do much anymore.

One big difference between Howard and Capella which was evident in this game. Howard always sets these soft screens that don't do anything before he rolls. Capela sets a solid screen then rolls nicely to the basket with a soft touch which is something Howard doesn't have.

I truly think that Howard could be a great PnR player if he just works at it but it's clear he wants to work in the post which just isn't effective in my mind.

I'm torn because we've played our best basketball this season without him. Last season he was out for more than half the season and the Rockets racked up the wins. Despite that, he's been a beast in the playoffs the last couple of years. I'm sort of hoping he doesn't opt in and we move on.

    Interesting.

He was +5 for the game. Teams was +3 when he was on bench.

Another member of the "Dwight sux no matter what he does" club.

I still don't understand why Beasley only played 9 minutes.
