Harden has shown he is more than willing to share the ball on numerous occassions. Taking the ball out of Harden's hands and putting it into Rubio's make your team worse, not better. FYI 50.5% TS is horrible.

Rubio would have some value as a creator off the bench and defense would be a welcome addition, but alongside Harden, no, worst possible fit.

We don't have a group group of finishers here.

We have 2 of the best finishers in the game.

Rubio is the perfect to mesh Harden and Dwight. Too bad it didn't happen 2 years ago.

How about us get a coach then worry about who would fit next to James.it is coaches responsibility to get the player you have to play his offense and defense. That's our problem the players have to much say on our team!

Forget about moving Howard. His play suggests he is mailing it in and opting in. Who would want what Dwight is offering at this point. Look at his play. It's over for him unless he tries to pick it up. But I think he wants to screw the Rockets by opting in.

JJ Redick would be perfect next to James Harden, but it isn't likely the Clippers give him up.

Does anyone else think DJ Augustin could be a good acquisition over the off season? good three point shooter and not a ball dominant card but can create offense. He would be a very good second scorer and we've seen at Detroit and now Denver he's very happy to be a spot up shooter and play off the ball.

Mo Williams also could be a good acquisition on the cheap.
    Thoughts?

If they lose out on Durant, do y'all think there's any chance the Wizards would be open to trading John Wall?

They're track record with him hasn't been the best and much like the Rockets, they've taken a giant step backward this season.

Maybe next year he asks for a trade himself. You should read that vertical article written about him where a journalist followed him around for like 2 weeks. He seemed very whiny and unhappy.

Only if it's for Harden. Otherwise, no chance in hell.

See guys, this is what I was thinking. He can't be that untouchable. Same with DMC and Melo.

Sometimes a restart for both sides is the best option...

He's averaging 20/5/10 with great defense. Only way he's wearing red is if Harden is going back. You willing to do that cause there's no chance in hell Washington is trading him for the pile of trash we have.

Yes, Harden can be / should be traded for Wall
Pipe dream would be to pick up Beal in FA, too.

So recreate the old Wizards? We already have Ariza and just trade Dwight for his old back up Gortat

Sounds legit. You should propose this to murry

Forget about trying to move Dwight or whatever for cap space if he opts in. Brewer's contract is literally impossible to move. Anybody notice that contract? He's going to be a Rocket for quite some time.

I was thinking about this today. His contract is going to be so hard to move. If we had a 1st round pick it would be a ton easier. Going to be interesting to see what Morey does. But Brewer needs to go

I'm not that pessimist about moving Brewer, may not be easy, but i think he's still considered a good bench player by some people around the league and someone will bite...maybe also cause they're probably thinking "he's just playing bad cause that team sucks, here he'll do better".

Too bad Karl will leave Sac Town cause he's a big fan of Brew but i think some decent/mediocre teams will want him.

If they traded Dwight by the deadline, they could have package Brewer with him and take whatever back. Off season sign and trade Dwight + include Brewer. Just don't know what the Rox have to take back as a result.

I don't get the pessimism about Brewer's contract: two years left at ~7.5 million with a rising cap.

Yeah, with this cap it's basically a MLE x2 which turns into an expiring after 12 months, so imo is not that bad, i understand that it may not be easy to trade because he's not playing a good season overall, but we've seen a good amount of worse contracts in last years when the cap was at 56/59 so yeah, i hope and think we can deal him without giving away a 1st pick or a good prospect.
