Mo T is going to have a big year. He will be fully recovered from his Achilles heel injury and will step up and become a main cog in the offense and a suprise on the boards. Cato will be one of the top three rebounds per minute ballers in the league.
Best newbie post ever. I mean that. I'm ready to read more posts by bugsbi. Gotta love a level head...and by a newbie! I smell long time member!
I really think this squad needs some additions. These players have come to mind: David Wesley (backup both backcourt positions) Charles Oakley (To motivate and protect team, 10 minutes PT) Eric Snow (To start at PG, ship off Mobley) Wesley Person (Best 3-pt shooter, desirable contract) Battier (Can play the 3 and backup the 2, great FG%) Drobnjak or Evans from Seattle (we need one more big man) Kirilenko or Harpring (Just they way they'd fit around Yao) We need to start getting these people on to our teams, the little players that make a difference. The nucleus of this team is Steve Francis and Yao Ming, and we need players that will make it AS EASY AS POSSIBLE for them to be succesful. I think we need to start getting rid of our big contracts while we can package them with Mobley and Griffin. MoT and Kelvin Cato should each be in a package with either Mobley or Griffin in return for expiring contracts and role players. MoT/Mobley or Cato/Griffin could get us just that, and help us start building up our team full of players with contracts like Lynch, Pike, Adrian Griffin, Wesley Person, and Eric Snow have.
When you call your Brothers and Sisters "FOOLS" "Its Personal". Your Trade idea shows a a lack of Basketball Knowledge and isnt even worthy of consideration.
I would really like to see a " Yao Ming Finatic " forum. This would eliminate alot of uneccesary scrolling down.
I predict everyone here will begg for mo and grif to be traded while brown improves . And I predict that you don't know what you're talking about. You do know Griffin's contract is expiring soon don't you? Why would we beg to trade him? Your window is closing to improve. No team is going to want griffin next summer after another lazy season. The Rockets will improve fine thank you. And after next summer Griffin might not even be a Rocket. He lacks skills that brown has that you just cant teach like ball handling. Why would a PF need to learn to be a ball-handler!?
Geez, guys. This is a fan's forum -- some guys like tossing trade ideas around. If you don't read 'em.
GV, no one enjoys good trade threads more than I do... (well, several do, but you get the idea), but this guy came out with... Quote: "Y'all are some negative fools." ...unquote. I think he's being treated rather nicely, all things considered.
That trade is r****ded, no offense. The players WAS trades all suck - yes, Brown sucks now because he still has barely done anything.
You know, I love to go on this site and read the posts, but one annoying thing is threads that suggest fictitious trade possibilities that we all know will probably never happen.
There have been several points to this post that people have identified as false or funny but I really like this one. I have always been under the impression that people actually learn to handle the ball... I guess I was wrong.
My wife bought me a goal and ball for Christmas and within four months, I was dribbling between my legs like I had been doing it forever. You can't teach ball handling. sheesh
