    .....especially if you're a Fanboy/girl!:D
How can you not like a story about the Vampire Nation v.s. the Werewolf Nation?! Has guns, swords, Matrix-like fighting effects, love found-love lost story, betrayal, leather wear, cool cars, mansions, Armani type clothing, cool-azz hairstyles, & eye candy (Kate Beckinsale!!!).......Like I said earlier, a must see!

Werewolves have always been my favorite and I hope they kick the vampires arse.

    In Order

    1. The Werewolf
    2. Dr. Frank
    3. The Count
    4. Creature of the black lagoon
    5. The Mummy

The Werewolves need shooting lessons. I thought it was totally stupid that she could just stand in one spot and not get touched by one bullet from 6 sub machine guns.

Happy to see the good reviews. My dad and I saw the preview couple weeks ago and said we're going to this one. We usually don't go to that many movies, mostly just the big names. (Matrix, LOTR, etc). Will see it later tonight.

Not that I don't trust you guys, but Underworld is currently sitting at 30% at RottenTomatoes, a pretty crappy score. Plus, Ain't It Cool News said it "wasn't terrible," which is NOT a ringing endorsement for a typical fanboy movie that practically caters to that site.

I'll check it out when it hits DVD...

Oh come on, it was at least a B+! The movie can't be taken too seriously cuz it's basically a comic book on the big screen. However, it was very well done, very comic book like, ala "Frank Millerisque" in its mood and setting. Just my opinions but I can't wait to see it again.....:D

I've been wanting to see it, but have been hesitant because nobody I know has wanted to see it with me, but I think that y'all just convinced me to go sans-friend.

LOL! Thanks! It will have to wait till either one of us has money though. I just spent my last 15 bucks until my paycheck....

I cant believe it costs so freaking much to go to the movies now! Especially here in Austin, the phrase "student discount" is practically non-existant.

The trailers really turned me off from this, but seeing as how you're a fan of Dr. Doom ESource, I trust you. ;)

Come now, there must be a $3 matinee somewhere in your area.

I'll be damned if I ever spend more than eight bucks on a movie date again. :p

I just got back from watching it. It was a lot better than I thought it was going to be, especially the plot. I thought it was just going to be some vampires and werewolves going at it with Matrix-style affects, which would have been enough to get me to see it. But the story made it even better, at least IMO.

BTW, I don't know if everyone gets the same movie previews, but I saw some pretty cool movies coming up. Got to see the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre and the new Resident Evil which I thought they made pretty clerverly. (is that a word?)

    I had good time. :)

The positive reviews here really suprise me...especially after a reviewer on Ain't It Cool News called it "a soulless cinematic turd."

Yep, I still believe Dr. Doom IS the greatest villain in the comic book world!:D

As for UNDERWORLD, I went into it expecting to see a "comic book story on big screen" (nothing more, nothing less) and was not disappointed. BUT I AIN'T refunding anyone if they didn't like the movie.....;)
