Is America finally shaking off the cobwebs and waking up?!

A parade of polls taken since the Sept. 7 speech has found notable erosion in public approval for Bush's handling of Iraq, with a minority of Americans supporting the $87 billion budget for reconstruction and the war on terrorism that he unveiled.

I found it interesting that the usual amen corner on the bbs could not muster any enthusiam for Bush's speech. I think it was immediately obvious that it was a bomb.

Oh well, I'm sure he'll try again. Funny thing about credibility. Once you lose it, you just can't say the same ol same ol and get away with it.
