Good riddance. We need to encourage him to opt out. Dwight is done here, and so are a lot of other rocket players as well. Dwight is only great in his own mind. He's finished. If we could have gotten rid of him in the free agency period, we would have. Nobody wants this guy. He's a clown and he plays too much. He laughs and smiles even when he's losing. He's not competative anymore and he doesn't hustle on the court for nothing. This guy is pathetic. I'm sorry, but he really is. He really needs to go.
Exactly. He wants to be part of a Big 3 not a big 2 and whatever Morey can muster up at a discount rate. He also wants to be paid... remember all the illegitimate children he has. If he keeps it up he's going to be broke by his 40's and just another case of the Shawn Kemps.

Maybe I've missed it but i've never heard Dwight was sour on the city. I've honestly never heard he was actually sour on the team either. All indicators are that him and the Rockets are moving apart because he wants another long term profitable contract and the Rockets want to go in another direction, but I haven't heard the Rockets talk bad about him or him about the Rockets. It has all seemed very professional to me. By the way, Dwight opting in for another year would be a disaster IMO.
There are two times you are happy with Dwight, the day he signs with your favorite team and the day he leaves your favorites exam. DD
Opting in would be ideal for the Rockets. He would be a good expiring contract. Oh yeah and he's still easily our second best player. But he's gonna opt out and get one last big contact
why would you want DH to opt in, so we can trade him??? don't get it BTW people are getting delusional again, we are in the game against Atlanta and OKC means NOTHING, if both teams are playing their best basketball, then i would agree, we are just an mediocre team, let the truth sink in
