If not for this call the Rockets would win the championship.

Looks inbound. When it's not a clear violation, the play stands.

That was a horrible lack of fundamental defense by Ariza and Harden.

Ariza is starting to remind me of bad parsons. Durant will take his spot soon.

What's worse, him being out of bounds, the collapse, or Hayward setting a pick on two of our guys forty feet from the basket to win the game?

The collapse by Howard followed closely by Ariza's arm getting caught on Harden.

Agree, although, to be fair, it looked like Hayward held Ariza's arm more than it got caught on Harden.

Loser mentality. Crying about a potential heel on the line when our whole 4th quarter was basically begging Utah to win? Take some responsibility coach!

Rockets were lucky the game was tied after Harden's blooper-assist to Dwight the play before.

2nb2b somewhat justifies, but this game is more about the many opportunities (games) we've already wasted this year.

You know what. I hope the refs shaft us from here until the end of the season. Maybe these clowns will come back next season and give a royal *****. Right now they care about as much as a kid on cough syrup and benadryl about this season and about winning.

What's worse, him being out of bounds, or the Rockets blowing an 18 point lead even while the Jazz turn it over 23 times and shoot 40%?

That's technically what I meant by the collapse, but Dwight's was awful, too, so I went with it.:)

NBA could not determine if he stepped out or not.

00:02.7 Turnover: Stepped out of Bounds Derrick Favors
[Observable in enhanced video] To be out-of-bounds, a player must touch the floor or any object on or outside a boundary, not just break the plain of the boundary. While it is clear that Favors (UTA) leans his foot back before starting forward, using available production angles and freeze-frame, we are unable to determine conclusively if his heel actually touches the floor/line.

He was not out of bounds.

I am not even sure it is close to being out? I don't think his heel is even over the line.
Yet ANOTHER bad call by JBB... lol.

Is JB using this to direct attention away from the fact that his team's D completely and utterly fell apart?

No sh#t man. Seemed like the last 5 minutes we were beating a dead horse trying to ride an exhausted Harden. Seriously? We are that poorly coached that every single offensive possession has to be initiated by Harden?

Like 4 possessions in a row in clutch time, we're spending 18 seconds just to force the ball into Harden's hands. They know that's all we got, so they're fronting him, got guys shading towards him. So then congrats! You finally got the ball to Harden. Now he has 6 seconds to do some ISO bullsh#t and he's exhausted. We are a 1 trick pony. And that 1 trick is: We ain't got sh#t so give it to Harden and everybody move back.

It was painful. It was obvious. It was ineffective. It cost us the game. And it created a turnover when the Jazz did finally get a steal from us forcing the ball into Harden.

I swear to God if I hear ONE MORE PERSON criticize Tom Thibodeau on "oh he grinds players into the ground with too many minutes." We don't already do that now? JBB and McHale. Harden averages basically 40 minutes a game for the past 4 seasons.

    From the 2 minute report:
    [Observable in enhanced video]
To be out-of-bounds, a player must touch the floor or any object on or outside a boundary, not just break the plain of the boundary.
While it is clear that Favors (UTA) leans his foot back before starting forward, using available production angles and freeze-frame, we are unable to determine
conclusively if his heel actually touches the floor/line.

So shut the hell up JBB.
