This should be a good test for the Rockets. They play a team they should beat ( the Celtics ) which currently hold the 8th seed in the east despite a sub .500 record, they play the T-Wolves on the road in a game that, if won, would be huge for awhile, and then they play the Magic, who they havnt beaten since Game 4 of the 1995 Finals. If the Rockets go 3-0 this week, all the blocks will be in place for a playoff run, even 2-1 might do that. The Rocks are just 1/2 game behind Denver, so a Denver loss at Portland combined with a Rocks win moves us not only into 10th and 27-25, but precentage points ahead of Seattle at 28-26 and into 9th. Wednesday, a Denver win over Seattle would help us "solidify" the 9th spot if the Rocks could beat the T-Wolves. Basically, this is a huge week for the Rockets. ------------------
You can pretty much put down a loss for Denver. They will not beat Portland. So, by the end of the night, I expect the rockets to move into the 10th spot. You're right, this is a big week. ------------------
Actually, a win tonight would make the Rockets 28-26. They would be tied with Seattle for 9th place. I believe that Seattle has the better conference record, so they would be ahead of the Rockets. ------------------ "Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning how to put food on their family while being put to death."
Yeah, I realized I screwed up the record about 5 minutes ago. But aside from that, we still got 1 down and 2 to go. A win tonight would be huge, no doubt. Dream, is going to need a huge game defensivly to keep KG down. If he starts taking over, its all but over. Offensivly, Stevie and Cat have got to have big games. ------------------
