After two sterling performances in the opening weeks of college football, I offer to the board the Trader_Jorge College Football Picks of the Week: Texas -29 at Rice (4 units) Colorado State -6 vs Miami, Ohio (4 units) Oklahoma State -24 at SMU (2 units) Hawaii +1 at UNLV (2.5 units) Florida -3.5 vs Tennessee (3 units) and the Super_Jorge Parlay Card: 5-Play Parlay (1.5 units) Syracuse -4.5 vs Central Florida Ball State -5 vs Central Michigan TCU to beat Vanderbilt Iowa to beat Arizona State Cincinnatti to beat Temple Payout: $1 - $9 As an Owl, it pains me to pick Texas to cover, but I think they will do it. After last week's flop, Texas will have a score to settle, and after watching UofH run rampant over the Owls' defense, I don't think there will be any stopping the Horns. Comments? Picks?
Thanks, just made my call to my bookie. Hope I don't get gobsmacked (dunno if that's the right use) .
Yeah, you have a serious gambling jones if you're betting on a Ball State/Central Michigan football game...
not exactly going out on a limb on any of those picks there T_J I can't wait for the LSU-Georgia game Death Valley will be filled with drunk Cajuns as LSU rolls over Georgia
Ball State vs. Central Michigan: Last year Ball State went to Central Michigan and beat them 38-21. Last week Ball State played Pitt close (tied 14-14 at halftime), while Central Michigan has had two close wins over I-AA teams this year (they were losing big to Eastern Kentucky before a wild comeback finish). Central Michigan gave up an average of 37 points in these games. Ball State should be able to score at will. Being a home favorite by less than 6 points, this game is a true value. You can find some incredible values by doing a little research on the under-publicized games like this.
you could say I am 'risk adverse' when it comes to sports gambling now if we're talking Craps or Blackjack, then I'm game
My Picks: Miami(-12)@BC- 2 units Florida(-3 1/2) vs. TEN- 3 units Tulane(-16 1/2) @ Army-2 units NC St.(-6 1/2) vs. TT- 3 units Oregon(+7 1/2) vs. Michigan-1 unit Georgia(+1 1/2) @ LSU-4 units UT(-30) @ Rice-1 unit MTSU(+ 20 1/2) @ Missouri-2 units Ark St.(-3 1/2) @ Tulsa-2 units
Texas -29 at Rice Texas Colorado State -6 vs Miami, Ohio Miami Oklahoma State -24 at SMU OSU Hawaii +1 at UNLV Hawaii Florida -3.5 vs Tennessee Tennessee Texas Tech + 6.5 at NC State Texas Tech Michigan -7.5 at Oregon Oregon Cal +4 at Illinois Cal
ya think so? NC State can do some things on offense.. The could be a shoot out, I hope Tech can win it on the road,
these picks are offensive............................................call a moderator great stuff and good luck TJ
Hawaii's penalties and turnovers are KILLING me. They have dominated this game, yet are losing 21-14. I'm also adding NC State to cover 6.5 versus Tech. This line would be much higher were it not for the heartbreaking loss last week versus Ohio State. Tech on the road is greatly diminshed from Tech in Lubbock.
Miami(-12)@BC- 2 units Florida(-3 1/2) vs. TEN- 3 units Tulane(-16 1/2) @ Army-2 units NC St.(-6 1/2) vs. TT- 3 units Oregon(+7 1/2) vs. Michigan-1 unit Georgia(+1 1/2) @ LSU-4 units UT(-30) @ Rice-1 unit MTSU(+ 20 1/2) @ Missouri-2 units Ark St.(-3 1/2) @ Tulsa-2 units Umm my picks are... I have a big unit.
Another fabulous week for me gambling! The Super_Jorge Parlay Card was a winner this week! Whopping gains yet again!
How are you doing, incidentally? I assume someone as financially-minded as you has kept good records. How have you done historically? This year? I'm interested. I've never been much of a consistent gambler... but I wonder how much of it is talent, and how much luck. Have you beat Vegas?
No love for the Coogs tonight? 42-35 over MSU - I bet ESPN wasn't expecting a 3-1 UH team for next Tuesday's game at ECU. Eat 'em up!
