I was at the game and sat near the Rockets bench. Didn't look too serious but you could tell that it was bothering him. Once it happened, he was constantly trying to stretch it out for the rest of the game. After subbing out for the last time he took off his shoes, slammed them on the floor in frustration, and limped to the locker room.
Harden has his faults, which get magnified from being our best player, but he is definitely not a p***y (say it with the accent of the Indian-born "Office Space" Samir "Nah-gonna-work-here-anymore" character: "Yes, Pe-ter, I, too, am not a poo-see.") Harden certainly dogs it on the defensive end except on special occasions, but he plays no matter what. Those ankle sprains and whatnot are real. All that said, if he's hurt, I'd rather have him sit it out and let us get back that first rounder than hurt himself further while we lose anyway. Of course, who knows, a couple days off, he might be okay. Yay, seventh or eighth seed!
Unleash the Beast. Best part about Beasley's game is that he doesn't give 2 ****s about Moreyball. He just goes out there and dominate with his mid-range and drives.
I can wait to watch Team ball and team effort for the first time in 4 years. I'm excited, it's going to be heart touching moment.
Clutchfans is becoming unbearable... Harden is one of the best players we've ever had in Houston, he injures himself yet goes back out there to do his best to get the W...and all y'all do is hate on the guy? Wake up to yourselves, seriously.
Dude STEPPED IN from a wide open three to take a two point shot. Zero f's given. Here's hoping Harden recovers quickly. He's a tank though, it would have to be pretty serious to hold him out for very long.
We may as well sit him out vs OKC. It's an away game and we've got the Jazz the next night. That game is a must win
We Will be fine without him, we have many great offensive players i even wont be surprised if we win in OKC
James Harden (sprained left ankle) may not be able to practice on Monday. If Harden can't practice on Monday, that will put him in jeopardy of missing Tuesday's game vs. the Thunder, and owners can expect another update tomorrow. If Harden is forced to the sidelines, Corey Brewer would likely return to the starting lineup, while Dwight Howard and Michael Beasley would likely do the heavy lifting on offense. Stay tuned. The nerve of some people on this board. I have bashed him consistently thrpugh put this season for his lack of defense but no one should want him hurt. The guy is still one of ours until told otherwise. He is a Rocket. Hope he is better aoon and we are ready to take on the freakin OKC Thunder.
