Who takes time to learn how to rebound? Only guy with a significant positive turnaround on rebounding whom I can think of off the top of my head is Kelvin Cato, and he had considerable physical advantages over Harrell. You develop your shot. You learn defensive rotations. Rebounding? You have some examples who would give me confidence that Harrell can turn it around on rebounding?
If an inmate is too important to the asylum...it happens. Let's not pretend players havent tried to gain control of situations and succeeded. Even Franchise did it.
There are new players on the team. We don't know what goes on in these meetings and they are necessary. The only measure we can see is their communition on the floor and results. Still love my rockets. We got our own flavor and growing pains.
There's way too many players meetings. It's as if it's meeting in disguise and it's really a stripper party that's paid for by Harden.
Growing pains. One growing concern... that we currently do not have ateam that has players that are "growing". The core: Dwight is on the downside, and even then, he doesn't appear to be "growing" as a player (makes the same mistakes he made early in his career). Harden seems to continue to add to his offensive game, but also seems to make bad decisions with the ball. And defensively he actually regressed this year. Ariza regressed this year, both offensively and defensively. The youth: Capela has shown development offensively and defensively. But until he can get close to 50% FT% is will be a challenge to keep on the court. Harrell has upside, both offensively and defensively. Probably our highest upside player. Decker. next. McDaniels. See Decker. The rest: See McDaniels.
I don't see these as "growing pains." If this team is a child, it has a serious auto-immune or pituitary disorder.
Ill be optimistic, but we suck we arent going to get any better at least with this lot and coaching wont get any better.
Sources say they discussed the latest episodes of The People vs OJ Simpson and The Walking Dead. The meeting ended when Beasley took things too far while trying to explain why he's voting for Donald Trump. James Harden was quoted saying: "If you're note voting for Hilary Sanders, then I won't pass you the ball."
No accountability on the floor with this team - none, regardless of how many times Harden refuses to play defense he will be on the floor, regardless of how many times Howard just stands in the paint and doesn't rotate, he will be playing, regardless of how many times Corey Brewer is out of control on boy ends, he is still gonna play - there is just ZERO accountability from the coaches - the inmates are running the asylum, and this is what you get. DD
Gotta love Beverley though, who else would talk smack before regular season game #69 when you are a 34-34 team playing against a 22-46 team? Now that's what I call competitiveness!
Yes, but can you imagine if the Timberwolves play above their heads and the Rockets give another moribund effort........and we lose? We better not throw this game away, too. Then we'll know we're really, truly mailing it in.
For the good of the team, we need to throw the game, and several more, until we're overtaken by Utah. We desperately need to fall to 9th. Getting a low seed and getting our sorry asses swept from the playoffs is a worthless exercise.
Idiots will blame JB but he inherited this garbage. McFail had no reigns on Harden from day 1 and that has royally spoiled him. He was able to freelance whatever the heck he wanted and he created a monster, in the worse way. Harden gets buckets but most nights his plus/minus is usually minus and especially minus in the intangibles department. This team is on Morey ultimately because these calculated selfish and ego driven decisions by wanting to be a GM/Coach and convince everyone in the league he's the smartest guy ever doomed him and this team chance at legitimate championships. Time for maury to go, like yesterday.
