This is pure myth and has been proven false. Harden shares the ball as much and possible and when he doesn't score and he lets someone else run it we lose. We don't have the personnel. Again Lawson sucked. Michael Conley does not suck Harden would be perfectly fine giving up the ball. HARDEN IS THE ONE WHO ASKED FOR HELP AT GUARD NOT MCHALE*

This embarrassing blowout on national TV reminds me of Schaub.

Rockets still have potential this season, though... if DMO regains form and/or Harden/Howard beast. Beasley is already an excellent upgrade.

Lol ISO harden developed bc of a coach? Hahah. He developed on his own the minute he was traded from okc. This is what he wanted. Blaming that on Mchale is just dumb

They do do after Beasley has been in the game and in a role, not when starting, most of his offensive streaks are with Harden on the bench. Starting the game Beasley will not get the ball as often. Ill be happy is they do it and somehow they can take the ball off Harden for his own good.

You can say these words but you can't back it up. Explain yourself and by all means quote my posts.

    PANIC!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously though, playoffs is all Im hoping for. Those who think we can pull an upset against anyone is crazy, let alone us catching 5th seed.
A few days ago Utah looked down and out. But their schedule is mad easy compared to ours. If we lose the games against them and Dallas, it's still quite possible for us to slip to 9th.

I hop on here and unfortunately im not surprised to see the majority ridicule Harden or only talk about Harden.

Ariza just got his ass lit up by Reddick, Harden has been torn into all year for "having zero heart" and "quitting" and we have Dwight Howard getting out hustled on the boards and challenging zero shots all night.

Yet we want to rip into Harden.

Harden brought it all night and had effort. His turnovers are disgraceful no doubt, but it's hilarious seeing other players on this team get away with piss poor play.

What about DMO Huh? Lazily puts one arm up and gets out hustled for a rebound by an ancient Jamal Crawford. How about when Harden was on the bench and the Clippers went on a 14-0 run. Must be because of Harden's Defense right?

Yes the plan was to put the ball in his hands and let him run the show. Mchale isoed Harden alot. He kept saying the ball got sticky but would still give the ball to Harden for ISO's. This is not a joke I'm serious. JB even admitted that there plan has been just to give the ball to the best player and let him create. "READ AND REACT" as they called it free flowing. This was a coaching staff construct. Harden didn't get here and just say Im going to hog the ball, lol.

this is not comfort. when they try they are very good. problem is they dont try.

    not that hard to understand.

they believe (and are partially correct) that they can turn it on if can get to playoffs.

its a long season and they are in coast mode.

    watch out if they try.

they just need to make playoffs. thats all they are thinking. problem is they would play golden state. on some levels even that plays on their mentality. underdog..fight the power..turn it on yadda yadda they are on a drug called lazy and coast.

survey says they will probably lose to gs but I can guarantee you game 1,2 in gs will be no cakewalk for gs. i wouldnt be surprised with a split in gs then come home. they would go complacent as they have this season mode hence lose that game 3. that game 3 would be the ultimate test of their care and take it to limit meter.

likely then they would lose game 4 and then go in to coast mode end of season. I can tell you they will be a tough out that game 1 and 2.

they end up losing in 6 to gs you can then dance on the grave. im telling you they are just coasting.

total human nature stuff. my 2cents. they dont care. i dont think they can string 16 games worth of care so yeah they probably wont do jack. thats not a revelation in terms of 16 wins

Don't even know why we're talking about harden. Just a waste of time. I've said this too many times As long as the defense is as pathetic as it is, this team won't be winning anything anytime soon besides an early offseason.

Point being harden is an isolation player. Like I said whether ü like it or not that's just who he is as a player. Much the same way the likes of kd, wb, melo are isolation players. That's just what they are. It's not on some coach

Every star player isolates. It's about what we are doing on offense during other plays which can get our guys easy buckets. We have the most ancient, gimmicky and backwards offense I have ever seen.

    It's beyond putrid.

No those players can all play within the system depending on the coach. It's one thing to say someone is really good at ISO play it's another to say they can't or won't move without the ball especially when your system and players don't dictate that.

I don't care enough to quote your posts.

I simply said someone has to convince Harden to play off ball.

You responded by saying that the myth that Harden couldn't play off ball is false (which I agree with)

Question, if I thought that Harden was simply incapable of playing off ball why would I suggest that he do that?

This is why your argument makes no sense....but I feel it was the result of the embarrassment that is this season.

Every star player is not an isolation player.
