i forgot about that guy. he shoudl take ariza's role and be one of the few role players in the nba to play 35-40mpg. make sure he's dead tired come playoff time.

Exactly. I think the group we have might be a very very good playoff team. Healthy players
(knock on wood) like PatBev and DMo plus Beasley will be huge IMHO.

Now that is probably the best response against him starting I have seen yet! Very good point!

He's our Vinnie Johnson off the bench...our scorer when Harden rests. Why fix or tinker with what's not broken?

That being said, Harden & Beasly have some good chemistry...& Beasly has been better than I expected, so far.

So is he a SF or a PF? I need very advanced stats please

Does playing Beastly mean your playing small ball or is it big ball? Again advanced metrics or GTFO

Beasley looked tiny standing next to DMo, so he's somewhat undersized PF of old. These days he's a legit PF. But Harden is guarding power forwards a lot too, so it doesn't matter, positions don't matter any more. They used to define what a player does on court, now guys of all sizes and shapes are able to do different things, it's hard to put a label.

On the other hand, Junior Bernie Bickerstaff likes to go small and then smaller, to not feel small himself, so Beasley might even be a Center.

if you do a simple google search his drafte xpress says he's 6'8 in shoes. if he grew after he was drafted then he's 6'9, since espn lists him at 6'10.
    230-40lbs seems right too.
morey's favorite kinda power forward. but this one is actually doing stuff, like competing for best point per minute player.

I love Beasley off the bench. It's adds a spark to a unit and position off the bench that we have lacked all season. Keep him coming off the bench and increase his minutes in other places potentially.

Agreed. Beasley is the Rockets super 6th man. If he keeps progressing/meshing with the team this year and next year, I could see him being in the running for the 6th man of the year award. He has that in him if he truly has matured.

We know that Harden has trust issues with his teammates. But part of the good chemistry that Harden is getting with Beasley is perhaps Harden trusts Beasley to be able to score.

Ok, it is time to start Beasley and bring DMo/Harrell off the bench, we need more dynamic scoring to start the game, and if you are not going to post up DMo then you need someone else that can create.

We need consistent bench scoring... Beasley strength is that NO one can score off the bench...

I'd rather pair Harrell with Dwight, and have DMo and Beasley together with Capela...Beasley can play the 3/4

Agree. We're getting blown out wayyy to early. Start Beasley to get instant offense right away to team up with Harden. Just can't trust Ariza to hit the 3 every game. Dwight..lolz.

Then from the bench D-Mo and Harrell can dominate the post with their energy and post game

Beasley only got 19 min tonight and was only outscored by Harden. Not only that, he got more rebounds than anyone! That's sad.

Beasley definitely needs to start getting starter minutes. He's the best scoring front court player on the the team. Him getting benched in the 4th for Dwight was stupid because Dwight was bad tonight.

I don't know if you start Beasley. But you give him starter's minutes and he has to be in the game during Harden bench/rest times.

Yup, I think he's better off providing that scoring punch off the bench. But he needs more than his usual 15-21 mins. He'll do most of his damage while Harden's not there, but I'm also intrigued by the potential of Beas and Harden on the floor. If I remember it right, they looked lethal in that Hornets game. Clearly, they already have some sort of chemistry and it's only gonna improve more from here on
