That would be Kerr, then. But if we use advanced analytics, his VORC is not nearly as high as Stevens. Kerr's Value Over Replacement Coach (Walton) is about the same as McHale's (JBB).
There should be NO debate...Walton-Kerr...should co share the award... The Warriors deserve tremendous praise for being on the verge of breaking an all time wins record...
terry stotts brad stevens steve clifford lets be honest, if we're just giving to best coach on best team, it'd be just pops every year. you cant coach steph curry's skills.
Brad Stevens is doing a great job, but nobody has done a better job this year than Stotts. They lost 4 starters and the team is likely going to get the 5th seed once again? Thats pretty unbelievable. And they'll likely have around the same win totals as Boston anyway, in the West, AND they were the only team to absolutely spank the Warriors this year which is quite impressive. Portland gets the least amount of respect of any team in the playoffs. No all-star appearance for Lillard, all the guy is doing is having a breakout year, 5th in scoring, 3rd in 3's made, 13th in PER and he may not even make an All-NBA team.
