Texans need some cornerback depth. Rockets need some pgs too. Maybe 2 for 1 contract?

I'm guessing Nate wouldn't look nearly as short standing next to football players. He looks like a str8 midge in the nba breh

He's prob 5 years late for this. He'll be 32 in May.

If he thinks about it he'll be better off going overseas or dleague and making a comeback in the NBA instead of busting his butt to play in the NFL. It would be awesome if he does make it though.

I wouldn't doubt it... Dude is a freak. He for sure would've been able to 5 years ago like another poster suggested.

Charlie Ward could of done it. He was just smart enough to not do it.

Unlike other run first Heisman QB's, Ward had all the tools to succeed in the NFL. But at that time it was better to be a mediocre NBA player than try and make it in the NFL. I think that was Nate Robinson's approach as well. He seemed to have the tools to do it. With guys like Dorsey and Big Baby, coaches just look at their size and quickness - nothing more.

Not sure it still wouldn't be the right choice to go NBA over NFL due to health concerns if nothing else. NFL rookie wage scale has also hurt, because as a 1st round pick, particularly at QB you could make way more than in the NBA due to their wage scale.

He definetly could've done it coming out of college. His personality would've benefited him more on the football field than it did on the basketball court. But I bet his bank accounts appreciate him going the NBA route.

NBA has guaranteed contracts for waaaay more money (for non-stars) with far less likelihood of serious injury. NBA is just a better sport financially speaking than the grindhouse that is the NFL.

im rooting for nate, love the guy. but yea, soccer is probably a better fit for him than football. he is so undersized, he would literally die in football.
