I'll dignify this thread with a serious response. Actually Vengeance, there is something we can do about it. Because Francis was a first round pick, he will be a Restricted Free Agent at the end of his 4 years with the rockets. As such, the rockets ahave the ability to match any contract that Francis is offered by another team. As long as we are willing to pay the cash, we can keep him for at least the term of another contract. It may only be for another year, but its something. The real danger is if he demands a trade/release. There is not much you can do if a player is unhappy and wants out. ------------------ Maybe all the rulers are wrong.
