People complaining about the midrange need to get over it. He does most his work inside the arc, and if someone doesn't want him driving, he will pull up on them. If he can consistently score at least 10 a game WHILE CREATING HIS OWN SHOT, he will help this team out tremendously!
We have a team option on him next year. If he balls out, we get to keep him for cheap. Another great move by DM.
Why? That's just stupid. He can't shoot them at 43%, because they aren't any easier than 3's and worth one less point. Just because he made one of them today doesn't change the fact that they are very bad shots. He did make some true mid range shots, that's what we need more of, not really long 2's. 21 footers are not a f**king mid range shot.
Im just happy the guy was given a chance. He could be the PF we need in this new NBA era and honestly who else can you put at PF? LOL.
You do not make them easily if your philosophy is transparent and easy to read for the opponent 3s all day won't work what will work is probably Beasley not launching too many 2s either and pass to the open man But he'll be my guest if nobody is open. Mix it up..... That 3s are more valuable than long 2s statement does only work if your team consists of truly great or good 3 pt specialists. I do not see that with the Rockets so pls Michael fire it when nobody is open!

yao isn't actually standing next to Beasley. He's actually standing next to that skyscraper. Damn trick photography! Actually yao looks to be sitting somewhat on the rail and leaning.
No it doesn't, nobody shoots long 2's at a high clip. Beasley will make at best 40% of his shots between 20 feet and the 3 point line. To only have to make 27% of your 3's to match that, and he can easily do that. Shoot a 3, or get into the 15-20 foot range (which he did a few times). Those are the money shots our offense desperately lacks because they are open and actually easier to make than a 3.
18 point on 19 shots. Our savior! When was the last time Howard took 19 shots? Probably in Orlando. When was the last time DMo took 19 shots? Probably never, including pre NBA. Sure, he was much better than most of Rockets trash that comes off that bench, but I have the right not to get hyped by Beastiality's performance, it was nothing special.
In fairness to this. 1. He caught fire so he was letting it fly 2. 2 of those baskets were repeated misses and putbacks. They weren't their own possessions really 3. One of those should have been a foul when he got pushed in the back. He still should have made it, but it was a foul
