We can hope that protests like these happen everywhere Trump goes for the rest of the time he's in the race. He's an absolute authoritarian scumbag and he deserves to be protested. Hopefully things will remain peaceful but given Trump's rhetoric and the low IQ of his average supporter, there's very little chance that'll happen.

Rubio is just on a phone with CNN right now. While he is criticizing Trump for some of his rhetoric, he also said Trump protesters should not be in a venue where Trump is having a rally. I totally agree.

A rally is a private event, and not a place to register your protest. You do not have that right as guaranteed by the 1st Amendment. There are public places for that.

To go into the mouth of the lion and not expect possible violence to ensue is totally naive.

    Trump lied. lol.

He really handled Chicago well. VERY strong.

I guess now we know why he thinks Tiananmen was a riot.

These protesters are so politically correct, they don't care!

I read that it was an entire section of protesters. Like how does that happen? I get a few rogues scattered about but an entire section. That's some serious coordination and perhaps some underhanded foul play by something/someone wanting to stick it to Trump.

Desecration of American Flags and bloodied cops.

Listen to yourself. You are worse than him.

You just hide behind a keyboard and post 20 times a day saying thoughtless comments.

An entire section of protesters means that this was a coordinated event.

I was on record stating Trump needed to dial down on his rhetoric. At the same, troublemakers masquerading as protesters is just as deplorable.

On the left wing sites there are people celebrating. I've seen at least one comment talking about a Facebook sign up page with 11k+ signatures. There is no doubt it was a coordinated group with the express intent of shutting down the rally.

I have no love for Republicans these days. Trump’s campaign is vile. But this is wrong, absolutely wrong and should be shut down. We have no interest in violent "revolutions", and extremism is bad whether from the right or left. Trump and his supporters have the right to free speech and free assembly.

This will probably be hard for you, but try to stop being an idiot. No one is supporting desecration of flags or police being injured. If you were better at reading comprehension this probably wouldn't be a problem. Anyway, do your best kiddo.

pretty crazy turn of events in Chiraq...

Should have just picked a different city in Illinois...Trump.

That being said, I dont really care much for Trump...I just have a hard time understanding when our nation became so irrational when it comes to people having different views and opinions. This just speaks to how much our nation is broken...There unfortunately is a Civil war without borders in our once great nation.

even more interesting was that a couple of times rubio insisted that this was an organized job with the intent of causing trouble and not just some random independent agitators. of course, a failed trump rally due to violence is the perfect scenario for the sitting interests who've hit hard against trump the past week

also, between yesterday's debate and today's interviews, i've been surprisingly impressed with rubio's integrity and positions on policy. too bad he has no chance and is working for goldman anyways

Chicago police said they were there protecting First Amendment rights and would have continued doing so.

Donald Trump just isn't STRONG enough.

Trump does deserve credit for how he's unifying the country against him. The left, right, and middle now have a common enemy.

The last hope for our neglected Veterans.
The last hope for our brothers in blue.
The last hope for the end of handouts.
The last hope for the full protection of your Freedom of Speech.
The line in the sand has been drawn and can no longer be ignored.
This is it folks they want to shut you us up.
We can not let it happen.

I'm all for Trump speaking more and getting more delegates: that means it's likely the Republican Party will fracture. I 110% support every time Donald Trump opens his mouth because it literally means the policies I dislike have that much lesser of a chance to succeed.

But I don't get people painting this as a "First Amendment" issue--police were on hand to protect expression and they stated they had no reason to call off anything for security. If a speaker is too cowardly to speak to an audience of people, that's on him.

If his audience then starts a fractious riot, then that's on them. But it's crucial to draw the distinction that before Trump cancelled, nobody said there were security threats. His cowardice is his own.

Lol. Comprehension can be tough when you have a dumb punk speaking mindless gibberish.

This message board is your life. Look at your post count:eek:!

You make fun of trump daily. Yet you talk just like him.

You are Bobby, a 20 post a day child living with mom and dad. Irrelevant behind a keyboard. Hoping Bernie will put you through college so you get out of the basement.

Good luck. Life is unfair to people like you.

Aww, you went full r****d. Never go full r****d.

I thought just maybe you'd have something substantive to say, but unfortunately you chose to drool all over the thread instead.
