Good afternoon. How's everyone doing? (I got one good.) I want to start this off by thanking Mr. McNair and the entire McNair family, Rick & Bill for giving me this incredibly opportunity. I want to thank my family. Without them, I'm not here today. I have my mom, dad & wife in the audience today. I have the most loving & supporting family in the world. I want to thank the Bowlen family, John Elway & John Fox. Thanks for bringing me to the NFL. Thanks to Coach Kubiak for everything he did for me last season. I'll forever be appreciative. I have to thank my agents. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you've done for me since day one. Thanks to Adam Gase. He taught me how to work and prepare on a daily basis. Thank Coach Erickson and Coach Mazzone. Now onto the future. I have great respect for the Texans organization and what Mr. McNair has created. I'm humbled, honored and excited to get to work. After speaking to OB today, I wish spring ball started tomorrow. Fans, teammates, community: I promise you'll I'll come in this building every day and work rain or shine. No one will outwork me. I control how hard I work & prepare and how great a teammate I can be. I want to be a great teammate. If I can walk out of here and they said I was a hard worker and prepared hard, that will make feel good. I can't tell you how excited I am to be a Houston Texan. How tough of a decision was it? It was a difficult decision. Most difficult decision of my life. Very appreciative of what the Broncos have done for me. In saying that, I feel Houston gives me the best opportunity to be successful from the top down. With OB & Godsey and the attack they have, their offense fits my skill set well. When they went back to Manning, how tough was that to get over in FA? Absolutely not. That's football. Benched, replaced, injured, whatever, that happens all the time. I want what's best for the team. As long as the team is winning, I'm happy. When Peyton came in and remained the starter, it was ok with me. Our team was winning games and ultimately won a world championship. I supported Kubiak's decision 100%. He's the coach. I'll always do what's best for the team. What was it like working with Manning? A little about your skill set? Peyton, we would need hours to get through the full list. He's one of the best to play the position and tremendous respect for what he's done in this league. Ultimately though, it was how to be a pro on a daily basis, Monday through Sunday, whether it's April or November. Whether he knew it or not, I was watching. This is top of the mountain, a dream come true. I'm appreciative the McNair family are giving me this opportunity. This truly is a dream. Expectations? We haven't got into that. They were a playoff team last year. They created a great culture and locker room. My biggest thing is doing my job to the best of my ability to make the team successful. I don't need to do anything special. Thoughts on playing with DeAndre Hopkins? You can see it in my smile. Very exciting. I've been fortunate to experience two great WRs but what DeAndre brings is special. We talked on the phone and are trying to find a place to work out. That's what gets a QB out of bed in the morning. When did you decide it wouldn't be Denver? It wasn't until yesterday. It did come down to the wire. I gave Elway a phone call to let him know the direction I was going. It was hard but he deserved it. Like I said, I could not be more excited to be a Texan. Reports you hadn't talked to anyone in Denver? It wasn't a couple of weeks. There was an offer on the table a small period of time. You follow your agency's advice. When it did come time to make decisions, we did talk. How will you handle the pressure of signing a large contract? Prepared for the pressure? I don't want to downplay the contract but bottom line, football is football. It's played between the white lines. When I step on the field, I'm not thinking about pressure or contract. How can I do my job the best way possible and get this team wins. Strengths/weaknesses as a QB? Always room for improvement. Last year people would say I took a lot of sacks. I would say I protected the football. I'll go and watch film to improve. I firmly believe games are won during the week, not on Sunday. How you prepare and work and compete during the week. I'll bring hard work, leadership. The Texans are already a great team. No one needs to work a miracle. What do you think it'll be like going back to play there, possibly Thursday night opener? Experiencing a season opener in Denver, it'd be a hell of an environment. I'm sure I'll have mixed emotions during the day but when it starts, I'll be the best teammate I can be and help get a victory. (O'Brien not exactly evangelical with his language) I love it. That's one reason I came here. I did hours & hours of research on all the teams I was considering. I made a note about O'Brien: passion & fire. I expect him to coach me hard. I want everything out of you I can. I expect him to coach me hard but that's how you get better. Staying at the top of the mountain? You get to work. People try to make football be complicated game. It's simple. You just get to work, one day at a time, good day after good day. Stacking up those good days, good things happen.

JJ Watts new #1 Enemy. UPDATEEEEEEEEEEEE (JJ Watt Voice) Murdered a Shark with my bare hands, ate for breakfast.
Of course the Broncos wanted Osweiler back and are NOT at all happy that they have a Super Bowl caliber team without a QB. My God, they are taking about giving up value for Kapernick to be their QB.... they have been kicking the tires on Fitzpatrick. You just know BB in New England is smiling, knowing that he can out plan, prepare for whoever the Broncos QB is next year.... it will be someone that is either physically limited or mentally limited.

He's already better than the previous quarterbacks. 1. He showed up on time. 2. He didn't throw an interception.
That's the only think you can really ask for. Glad he's not dressing in disguise going to clubs.

I'm really hoping we can come in 3 months into the season, or maybe next offseason, and read stories about Brock and JJ having similar routines and schedules--setting an example for each side of the ball
PFT not invited to the #BrockParty  <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">I've never actually considered muting an NFL team's official Twitter page until tonight.</p>— ProFootballTalk (@ProFootballTalk) <a href="https://twitter.com/ProFootballTalk/status/708091689894879232">March 11, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Funny, I unfollowed PFT like 6 months ago because of how annoying, biased, and frequent their tweets were.
