Personal stats is meaningless when your team can not win.

In JUST the games that I cited what is the team record. 4 - 4. Then you don't care for wins because his "elite efficency" doesn't translate to team wins.
To clear up the mistake of his "elite efficiency." Take into account the formula used to produce that stat. Harden leads the league in FTA, 2nd in scoring but is 23rd in league at TS? 23!! Even with that huge boost and head start. That is more of a counter argument for him.
Look. Only Curry has attempted more 3s than Harden yet 3 player have more 3pt made. PG13 has taken 52 less and has made 1 less.
Harden leads the league in FGA and also 3 playes have made more FGs than him. Curry has shot 58 less shots than him and has made 68 more.
    TS doesn't help him.
I was pro Harden last year and believe he was robbed of the MVP. I'm not a Harden hater, but I'm also not bias because I'm a Rockets fan.

For once I agree with the haters. If your team is sucking then why on earth should an individual player garner any accolades whatsoever? Why give James a pat on the back when he still isn't doing enough as a leader to get his team to play better?

I say give him an offseason of shame to mull over his decisions from the offseason prior. Then, once next season starts if he's got his head screwed on right you can lift the awards ban.

Just as I pointed out to Mr. Clutch, Harden isn't 23rd in TS%. Any statistical leaders category has a minimum requirement. Filter the list by any reasonable criteria and Harden is #5 in the league in TS%.

If you don't think that you should filter the content for a minimum number of attempts, then do you also believe that Nerls Noel is the best 3pt shooter in the league and that Curry is #19?

I'm not following your argument about FTs in TS% being a counter argument. TS% takes into consideration all points scored and FTs are part of that. Harden is really good at drawing fouls, no secret there.

Are you trying to say that Harden isn't efficient? I'm guessing that's not what you're saying because everyone knows that. What is the point that you're trying to make? Do points from the ft line no longer count? As long as Harden is scoring, why do you care how he does it? If Harden hits 50 ft in a game without scoring a FG, do you consider that a bad thing? I'm confused as to why you're hung up on made 3pt shots. Why are you only focusing on those?

Yes Paul George has shot the 3 better than Harden this year but that's only 1 way that he scores. Harden has shot better on 2pt shots than George and he's hit many more FT. Overall, Harden is more efficient than George. Do you disagree?

As for Curry, yes he's taken fewer shots and make more. Is that surprising? He's currently having an historically great season shooting the ball. Does that mean that everyone else in the league isn't efficient because Curry is more efficient this season?

As far as the Harden's efficiency and wins, he's helped this team win since the first day he arrived. Do you believe it's impossible for a player to have a good year and the team still dissapoint? One guy can't single handedly make the Rockets contenders.

Do you think that Anthony Davis doesn't translate to winning because his team is losing? Of course not, he's just not surrounded by enough talent. Steph Curry could have the exact same season as he's currently having but if he was on the Sixers they wouldn't be contenders.

Stars help you be better than you otherwise would be but they don't guarentee you that your team is going to be a contender. The best example that I can think of is Moses Malone. He was MVP yet his Rockets team was a .500 team. He gets traded to Philly and a better supporting cast and he wins a title.
