DMo is good. He improvises, because there's no system in place. DMo is best PF on the team. He is forced to waste his career being coached by pathetic "coaches", has to deal with with selfish teammates, has to defend more than one player at all times, because some teammates are defending no players at all times. Then he gets the blame.

I wonder why Tinman wastes his time in that Jeremy Lin thread trying to run away all those LOFs claiming he only wants Rockets fans on this site, but this guy OL-W3 is still parading around the GARM when it is clear as day that you're not a Rockets fan and only a DmoOF.

Hey dude, last time I checked basketball is a team sport which means it involves everyone playing good. Last time I checked when Dmo was in the starting line up with James, Trevor, Pat, and others LAST SEASON Dmo was actually playing well. Same team and pretty much the same coach.

Has it ever occurred to your blind self that DMo simply isn't ready THIS season? Saying Dmo is the best 4 on this team is like saying a 10 year old is the best cook in the house when the only other people in the house are his/her 4 and 9 year old siblings. What's the point?? Still probably a bad cook, just like DMo is currently a bad 4. Look at my post earlier on this page. The numbers show that he is absolutely awful when on the floor, but I don't blame him. I don't blame James, and I don't blame the coach. I don't even blame the team he is playing against. I don't blame anyone for his awful play because I simply understand he's not there yet after coming back from his injury. You should understand that and I understand that. Dmo simply isn't ready yet, and it will take time and patience for him to return back to form. Even Dmo knows that.

Dmo sucks right now. Get over it. He'll hopefully get back to playing like he was over time, but he is hurting the team right now. J.B. is doing Dmo a favor by playing him 16 to 20 minutes a game so Dmo can hopefully get himself a nice contract after the Pistons screwed him.

God, your post disgusted me so damn much. He improvises?? Falling to the ground after going for each loose ball and giving the other team a chance to go 5 on 4 while you're on the floor is not improvising. A bad coach doesn't make you play like crap. Look at Kyle Lowry succeeding in Toronto. Westbrook and Durant doing well in Oklahoma City when they had Scott Brooks. Freaking Chandler Parsons here in Houston compared to Dallas. All these players are doing damn well.

Stop pointing fingers. I never once heard or seen Dmo point fingers. All you do is point fingers and blame others when the truth is that DMo isn't ready yet and there is no one to blame for that. He is coming back from not playing consistently for a whole year and back surgery. What do you expect?? Him to come back and average 14 points and 9 rebounds while being the second scoring option on the Rockets?? I wish, man. I hope he can get to that by the time the season ends. I hope he can make a miraculous 180 on his play this season. I really do. But be realistic man.

    Pretty much this.

DMo isn't the problem guys. He's rusty, but he's doing all the little things, screens, charges, moving the ball, as well as positional defense. What do Josh Smith and T-Jones do?

Josh already had his big contract and had proven himself in the NBA.

    DMo hasn't. Different trajectory lines

This is the type of mindset that is frequent among NBA fans and I really dislike it. Fans evaluate players on reputation alone... "Josh has proven himself in the NBA" - does it matter to you at all that he's been a total scrub for quite a while now? Should we be okay with him playing like **** as long as he's played well in the past?

Dmo is not rusty ladies and gents. So please stop using that as an excuse. Dude played 4 games in the d league to knock off the rust. He's played several games with the big boys too. So again please stop it with all these darn excuses.

Another thing the best power forward would be averaging more than 5 points and 2 darn rebounds a game.

Homerism at its best for one single player. Bwhahaha off the damn chains

Do I think D-Mo would have or still will make a "difference" - YES

Do I think that the root of the Rockets problem would have been solved with him simply healthy? - NO

The Rockets are still playing like the 2015/16 Rockets nonetheless. No simply getting back in transition. Still poor rotations with poor communication. Still not crisply moving the ball and finding the open man. Still bricking three after three without trying ANYTHING else offensively. ETC. ETC. ETC.

If you don't root out the underlying cancerS that has this team playing like s#$% this season, than I hate to say it but D-Mo would have been affected negatively himself. Even Harden & Howard, who by all means are producing at a higher level than D-Mo would have been, have been negatively affected by this season & this team as a whole.

This season just needs to end, and the team needs major philosophical changes, starting with the way the team approaches training camp & the offseason. It likely starts with a regime change, but whether its JBB or someone else (and whether players change or don't), the change in this team starts with dedication to the offseason & training camp to actually RE-LEARN the FUNDAMENTALS of basketball & reset their dedication to whatever system they are running, and run it correctly on both ends.

D-Mo is just a person, player, piece of the team. The TEAM itself affects that piece more than that piece affects the team.

(Point: D-Mo isn't SAVING S$%# on this team guys)

Simply, Dmo is the best PF the team has by a long shot. Him and Montrezl should be the primary PFs in the rotation unless Beasley starts showing something, then Dmo/Beasley is a good PF combination. Terrence Jones was a disaster and Josh seems to have slowed down. Dmo does many things that help the team, whether it be setting screens or making the extra pass. He plays true team Basketball.

Saying DMo is the best PF on this team right now is like saying who is the best looking girl in the 'ugliest girls' contest, that is it's not saying much. We have some of the worst PF's in the entire league.

I am a huge DMo fan but he is still not 'back' to his best. That is partly conditioning and partly coaching or lack thereof. There is the occasional low post move, the occasional beautiful pass and the occasional 3 but he needs to start producing more if he is to be called "savior" and prevent this team from 1st round humiliation.

It's about time Dmo sees at least 28 MPG and gets the ball in the low post to go work. And grab some rebounds, real ones not box out ones

True, he does play true team Basketball. It also doesn't seem like he's been looking to score much. If they get him the ball in the post consistently, he will score.

I think first round humiliation is inevitable. This team is bad period and DMO playing 20 minutes last game going 1-5 fg, 4 boards while being a -18 on the court and then some of the little Minions in here saying he's playing good is comical. Objectively any other player that had thrown up those numbers outside of DMO the Savior would be getting destroyed by the same people who are saying he looks good. I like DMOs game and if he's on the team next season and healthy then he'll really help this team and hopefully with a new coach that will utilize his skill set out of the post because JBB is not smart enough to go with it. Even JVG during the Chicago game questioned why is Josh Smith constantly hanging out at the 3pt line on offense when his strength is down low. DMO should be getting 6-10 touches minimum out of the block until the other team can stop him, he's got a very rare ability to play with his back to the basket and it's not going to be utilized with this coaching staff period.

It's like people blatantly ignore the proof that Dmo hasn't proved anything but be a liability on both sides of the court this season. Asking him to play more minutes is to ask the Rockets to tank the season. Even if that is what you want the Rockets aren't going to tank. Unless Dmo significantly improves his play I don't see him getting an increased role.

I don't care how many perfect screens you believe he sets. I don't care how many extra passes you think he makes. The absolute truth is that he has been no good this season. Like, I seriously don't understand. When he has been on the floor he has been just as bad defensively as any other natural 4 on the team. Dmo has been just as bad as Josh Smith has been. It doesn't matter if Motiejunas's game is much more pretty than Smith's. They're both ineffective and hurt the team.

Stop defending awfulness. The team is better suited with Trevor Ariza playing more minutes at the 4 spot rather than any other natural 4 if Houston wants to actually compete. 15 minutes is enough for Dmo or any other natural 4. Any more and it's hurting the team. Until Motiejunas is back to who he was don't say he needs more minutes and definitely don't say he would help the team more because he plays "team basketball."

If you can't see that DMo is the best PF on the Rockets since he's been back, you might want to consider finding a different sport to watch.....clearly basketball isn't working out for you. Obviously he's not back at 100% just yet, but he's considerably better than Smith, Jones, or even Harrell who is the clear cut 2nd best PF on the roster.

You're talking about NBA little fella. This is not your usual YMCA pickup game where 4 games would be enough to shake any year long rust.

Honestly your posts are so moronic I'm not sure if you're just trolling/hating, or you are truly and idiot. Which one is it?

You serious? Idiot who probably never played basketball in his life thinks 4 D-league games is all you need to recover from a significant back surgery and regain last year's elite form?

Dude, idk about you but every time Dmo is on the court the Rockets play freaking awful. Saying he's better than Smith and Montrezl is comical. Like it takes some special player to be better than those two. Really, man? David Lee or Markief Morris would be the best power forwards on this roster. Even last season's Carlos Boozer would be this seasons best power forward. What does that say about Dmo? That he freaking sucks right now, and he isn't doing **** to help the team when he is on the floor. You can use your eye test while I'll use the numbers and the eye test. He's been playing awful and he's no different than Terrence Jones because both are awful on the defensive end and both make the team worse offensively as well. Congrats, man. Dmo is better than Montrelz, Jones, Smith, and Beasley. What a feat. So inspiring. Dmo is the best power forward. This isn't 2014-2015 anymore.

That's what you guys resorted to? Hey, at least he's not as bad as the other guys? Truth is he is playing as bad as the other guys, and yeah he's not back to being 100 percent. But when will he? There's very few games left and there is very little room for error. It is not a forgone conclusion that he will return to the type of player he used to be. That's not something anyone can look into the future and see. The jury is still out on if Dmo will ever return to how good he was last season whether it's on this team or another. I have faith in Dmo, but I also see that it is going to take time and patience to see where he's at by next season.

Critiquing him for his play right now is not me critiquing him for his future play. If all you have to say is that he's playing better than the other guys then you don't add anything to the conversation. By the way, he isn't playing better than the other guys since he's been back. I backed up my reasoning. I'm not just saying things without actually having somewhat credible proof on my side.

I guess he's the best PF on the roster right now? That's not saying a whole lot, because he hasn't been remotely good. Not even 50% of what he gave us last year.

Once again for the millionth year in a row, PF is the team's weak link.

There is nothing little about me Internet troll. Moronic, dude please, you're the one on here coming up with all these damn excuses. Even when people told your dumb bleep, that it would take some time before this man start playing at level he did last season. You and a few others refuted that notion saying Dmo was going to come back and save this disastrous of a season. Now that man is back and is clearly struggling just like the entire team, you jokers on here with all these freaking excuses.

And trolling Bwhahaha man move around with that weak stuff. All because I'm disagreeing with you and a few others about Dmo's play so far, doesn't mean I'm trolling. Neither one of our power forwards are living up to expectations. And to say Dmo is the better of the bunch is simply ludicrous.

Watch out now, I'm not here calling you out your name. And for your information I've played ball before and was pretty darn good. Shoots I bet you can't beat me in a game of one on one.
