that's not the purpose of joining a team board. it's popular because Rockets fans are passionate fans. LOF invaded our board with no intention of being Rockets fans and that was a major point of content. Lots of them were banned and wanted nothing but failure for the Rockets. This also shows that Jeremy Lin fans can't stand each other cause they can't have a board of their own and have any decent conversations amongst their own. The reason for this is virus analogy which fits perfectly, they can't infect each other, they only want to infect a healthy board. this board is healthy.
I think clutchfans pays tinman, thats the only way he can have so much time to post on every teams forum.....hopefully ill get compensated after a few decades....

Naw. I think it's just that his RL sucks so bad that he gets pleasure from any kind of attention, even if it's negative. How else can you explain anyone spending a couple hours a day crapping on some one he has never met, except that his RL must really suck balls and he needs to take it out on others anonymously.

You realize that makes it even worse? Right? Think about it. Everyone talks crap about others on occasion. It's probably a healthy thing to do. Now try this. Picture in your mind the person in your RL who talks crap about others for hours every day. Do you like him? Is he a close friend of yours? Now, not only does this person talk crap about someone endlessly, he also makes the effort to follow and meet this person he doesn't like multiple times. That's borderline psychotic. (normal people avoid people they don't like) This is the alpha male of your group. The guy you try to emulate. Not sure which is sadder. Tinman as the alpha male or the lapdogs who follow him.

Also, I have noted on this thread that Lin's offensive game has been below average even before the All-Star Break (I said "all season"), so it's not like I'm not seeing the problems. But Lin is still getting significant minutes off the bench, so he must be doing some things well for the coaches to keep him in...it's not like Coach Clifford is shy about benching players who are struggling (see Jeremy Lamb, who even signed a contract extension at the start of the season...his minutes have dropped like a rock). The team felt comfortable enough with Lin as the backup PG to trade away their only other experienced backup PG (Brian Roberts). So yes...his offensive game has been below average (tho I still won't call it "crap" when he puts up 9 points on 8 shots), but his overall contributions to the team since the All-Star Break has been a factor in their winning record over that time.
