Check his stats lately. He was still recovering from the offseason surgery.

Oh ok, so back to his usual 16-17ppg with absolutely no defence? I'm not sure what team it is suggested he could be a number 1 player on? Philadelphia?

He's going to opt out and leave for a team that gives him a max. Won't be the mavs though

    Hey good luck to him!

I just argued against the 'he is playing like a number 1' - no, he isn't. Sure he can do it for 1 game in 10, but he can't carry a team.

Parsons is possibly the worst defender in the NBA. He completely lacks the instincts as when to switch and how to communicate with his teammates. He runs around like a chicken frantically trying to get through picks, banging into teammates and opening lanes for easy scores. He is actually worse than most of the branded "bad defenders" like Anthony, Lillard, Rozan and Walker because with those guys their teammates know defensively where they will be on the floor.

The Parsons contract has NOT worked out well for Dallas at all. They have received little production and he will soon be able to option out of his contract.
