Being almost or at the same level as the Spurs. Best case: 60 wins.

Around 60 wins, and a WCF appearance.

There's no point to the season anyway. Our title window was between 2014-2015. It's now closed for everyone in the League with Curry and the Warriors astronomical improvement.

    Legitimate run at a championship.

How could you not think that? WCF last year, natural growth through another year of keeping pretty much the same team together and adding Lawson.

Who really thought Lawson would be as bad as he's been? Who thought the defense would decline to the level that it has? The bench isn't nearly as productive, Capela hasn't taken a big leap forward, no healthy DMo or production out of the 4 spot. The list goes on and on with why this team is mediocre this year.

3rd seed behind GSW and Spurs, 58-60 wins. Ty and MT being main contributors, with Ty averaging something like 14ppg/8apg, being in all-star shape and forming one of the league's most intimidating offensive backcourts in the league.

    Boy was I wrong.

Only a Harden/Durant/ Horford + cheap Dwight can dethrone the Warriors. Make it happen basketball Gods!

i still stand by my preseason prediction of dwight and dmo being a top 5 twin tower lineup. they havent had the chance to do anything since the team is too stupid to use dwight and dmo's health is a lot worse.

if they're both back next season fully healthy, with a real coach, it can happen and will wreak havoc.

Matchups certainly have to do a lot about outcomes, but I too was hoping/expecting for a WCF return.

Summer: serious threat to make NBA finals

Pre-season: warning signs of over rating; WCF looking probably beyond reach

11 games: season complete bust; rookie head coach that might learn enough to get a first round exit in the playoffs

Now: just not interested in the season. Ready for baseball.

    my expectation was - motivated!

..typically the only motivation seems to be to get the game over so they could hit the club... smh...

thought this coulda been a championship year... with the addition of Lawson, the chemistry that was built in last years playoffs, and with Harden out to prove he shoulda been MVP last year... hope in one hand...

I thought 3rd. I knew SAS with Aldridge was going to be money and GS aint goin anywhere. I thought we were OKC/Clips level of competition and perhaps better since Durant now has an injury history heading into this year.

Game 2 of last year's WCF. I thought we were that close to Golden State, and Harden vs Curry would be the NBA's premier rivalry moving forward.

Cmon bro, that would have been very unrealistic. Last year we were very lucky in playoffs.

Before this regular season started, I expected about 7th-seed. And 1st or 2nd round exit.

We can still fulfill that if we play decent down the stretch.
