Morey is stupid for chasing Melo. Morey is obsessed with flawed stars like Harden, Melo, and Dwight. He definitely knows how to attract losing mentality players.
I wouldn't go this far, unless you want to say Durant is one of those "losing mentality players." That said, I was furious when I saw that "Key to a championship formula" poster. I could maybe understand wanting to sign Anthony. But that poster... that was straight up a** kissing to one of the most selfish players in the league. And Morey didn't know whether it'd be a "key" or not. That poster took a lot of respect of Morey from me. I know there's a possibility that all the star chasing is Les Alexander's idea and Morey is just his minion. Well, if that's the case, too bad for Morey.
Not to mention it was also Lowry's jersey number. Nothing says 'please sign with us' like disseminating a poster of some other dude with your jersey number, calling him the key to a championship, and asking you to wait until he makes up his mind before you determine your future.

I agree. Lowry signed with us right after that incident. FYI, I am also thankful for Patterson. He has been amazing of the bench since he arrived to Raptors.
