I'm not "blaming" anybody. What in the world are you talking about? You can Google Lowry's comments on McHale.
Lowry is notorious for starting seasons looking like a star and ending them looking barely like a starter. As a former Rocket, I hope he keeps it up. But I'm not counting on it.
Yeah, I know those quotes about McHale. I was talking about the "phone call away" comment another poster made. I'd like to see that quote of Lowry's. People are blaming Morey in this thread. That's what I'm talking about. I'm not convinced since Lowry re-signed July 2nd.
You have to put someone in position to succeed in order to show his full potential. Dragic in Suns' uniform had the best season because he was the main ballhandler and same with Kyle in Toronto. If you are comparing Kyle in Toronto to Dragic in Miami, that's just dumb. That's the same as saying Ty Lawson is one of the worst PGs in NBA because of his stats this year. I went over this topic with you over and over, and you are still beating the same dead horse. Just admit you are a Lowry fanboy and don't care about circumstances of a player, but only statistics.
See how he went toe to toe with curry in the game a few days ago? Imagine if we had that against the warriors last year, man!

He does get the respect. 2 years ago everyone said he was supposed to go to All Star game, not Derozan. Last year he went to All Star game (did super bad in it though). This year he's making it also. So that's a 3rd season of him being elite PG. Hmmm, I see what you mean, he does get somewhat less exposure, since US TV don't get gold for showing Raptors games, so they don't show it. But among NBA nerds he's well respected.
Lowry was a steal for the Rockets. One of my favorite player, even when he was in Memphis. When he was with the Rockets, I always remember him effectively shutting down peak New Orleans CP3. Too bad McHale happen.
They didn't have to say anything for Lowry to be aware that Melo was their #1 option. If the Rockets had gone all out for Lowry like they did for Melo Lowry would have signed with is. Biggest regret of Moreys career.
Right before his most recent free agency, he said he regretted how things ended in Houston and with McHale. He even wanted a chance to redeem himself. He even gave us first shot in free agency. He was basically told us he wanted to come back and we said, hold up we want better players to decide first. Neither was at fault. Rockets had to do their job and get the best player possible and Kyle had to do what was best for him, financially and on the court. Just wasn't meant to be, but it seemed he really wanted to come back to Houston.
can't play with harden. i mean lowry looked worse than lawson next to dragic and he didn't like it very much. best fit next to harden is a young tony allen. Harden is going to turn it over and let guys go by no matter which position, so he might as well do it from the "PG".
Huh? Adelman ran those Lowry-Dragic backcourts and they wreaked sheer havoc on the opponents. Fascinating to watch and root for I miss Lowry, our lovable bulldog. The last guy out there fighting for a win when everybody else had given up.
