    its free and you can play with people all over. just download the program (i dont think its that big of a file)

    Yea, I'm playing partypoker right now on the .50 - $1 tables. It's a lot of fun and they have several single table tournaments that you can play for cheep.

    If anybody wants to get a real money account let me know. If you give me your email address I can refer you and you will get $25 extra dollars to your account when you put money in and I'll get $50 extra to mine.

    or buy Winning Low Limit Hold'em by Lee Jones. I highly recommend this book for anyone who really wants to learn how to play and win.

    If anyone is interested, since I am off for most of October I will probably hold a tournament at my house. Usually it's a 100. buy-in, no-limit hold'em.

    Another good site. You have to download a small client, but it's one of the best poker games around.

    I use a Mac at work and home so I play where you don't have to download anything. www.pokerroom.com Fake and real games. Doesn't work that well with Safari, but does work with MS Internet Exploder.
