Why didn't we at least address the Hack-A-Dwight issue?

Because the goal wasn't to get better as a team, the goal was to save Les some money. The hack a Dwight situation will take care of itself when Dwight walks in FA and we don't give Smith a new contract.

What difference does it make? We aren't a contender, and Dwight is gone after the season. You wanted the Rockets to address an issue for the last 27 games of a season that is a complete disaster? I don't get it.

Dwight has been handling that issue by hitting more of his FT's. He's no where near Harden's level, but he's gotten better and coaches have noticed. They've moved to Hack-a-Pella now.
He has a nice stroke, he has to get over his stage fright but he has the tools.

Because it's a good strategy and helps us.

It allows our superstar, the overweight, poorly conditioned and unfit Harden to catch his breath during the hack a times.

btw: Pops did not use Hack a Jordan last night, as LAC stretched a 6 pt lead in the 4th to 19. Jordan came into the game with Pops down by 6 and over 10 minutes left in the game.

I guess he doesn't always think it's a good strategy after all.
