Actually, the actor who plays Daryl has a new show coming out I think on AMC and that is leading to the speculation he will be gone. Also, the actor who plays Rick threw a hissy fit and couldn't sleep when he read the finale script because he couldn't believe who was going to get it. Of course, it's all speculation. I wouldn't assume Daryl is safe, though.
there are only 3 people safe in the Walking Dead universe. Spoiler Rick, Carl, and Michonne. Maggie MAY be the another.
Spoiler Glenn is done for. It has to happen. It introduces Negan. Unless they change the character who Negan brutalizes. However, it has to be Glenn because of Maggie's future story Arc.
Um...he was shot basically the same way in the Comics. It's not lazy. It is part of his Arc. Carl losing his eye is important to the character future growth.
There are cars littered all over the landscape. Besides, Negan can just send out a search party when they don't come back. They probably have patrol routes, if not walkie talkies, too. No reason why their position couldn't already be known.
The one major thing that hasn't happened (besides switching characters that have died in the comics with others ....i.e. Andrea with Carol), Spoiler is Rick losing his right Arm. I think the producers said that wouldn't happen in the TV show. It would have happened already on the TV, based on the comic timeline
I guess I'll have to be that guy... But please warn ahead if your spoiler contains comic book info. I'm not going to throw a fit like what went down in the Game of Thrones thread, and I won't cry for a separate comic book reader's thread either. I just simply ask that you label your spoiler if it contains info from the comic book. Thanks!
People regularly spoiler info on shows that have just aired as well so that they don't ruin it for people who may be a little behind. There's examples of it on the last few pages. As I said before this was beat into the ground over in Game of Thrones thread, let's not do that here... It's just a simple request that hopefully you'll respect.
man that was a stupid episode Walking through zombies covered in guts again? Seriously? They couldn't even find an original way to clear the decks to get rid of spent up side characters.
I'm sure they just wanted to stay in line with the comic rather than come up with something else. I don't remember exactly how it went down, but it seemed familiar.
It was established that they could "mask" their scent in the first season.....according to the show runners and comic book creator they don't use that much on purpose......
You don't remember how it went down? They covered themselves in zombie stuff and pass by them. People were upset they didn't use that tactic more, now they are upset they used it... Watch the show and stop trying to find something to be mad about. They didn't follow the comic......they suck They followed the comic.......they suck Should info that they have at one point or another followed the comic or not be spoiled?

Finally caught up after being behind on the show for years. Too much good TV out these days. The show has gotten consistently better in terms of acting, direction and writing. I've made my peace with the inconsistent zombie abilities & bone density. Sometimes they're weak and their skulls are about as solid as an overripe grapefruit, sometimes they're super stealth ninjas with metal plates in their heads. One point as someone who has been reading the comic for years - This show already departed from plot points in the comic seasons ago. It's hard to call anything any more. I rather like that as it keeps me guessing. It's a good show in it's own right. I figure this show will pass the comic in 2-3 more seasons. then we'll all be in new territory, ala Game of Thrones.
