    The only reason you'd make a move like that is to get space under the hard cap for other moves.

    I can almost guarantee you that there would be side implications triggering this deal. Getting more room under the hard cap would be one, but this deal doesn't work from a dollar to dollar basis.

    At least you have a taller PG. Don't know about is handles or drives to the basket. Don't need a PG that shoots but one that can pass and run the offense.

    He'd be an instant upgrade over Lawson for his defense and rebounding, that alone combined with him being on a 3 mill rookie contract next season, makes this trade more then worth it.

    Hopefully this has legs.

    It's true. I mean, he rebounds well and plays solid defense. He can pass the ball better than Bev, Brewer and Ariza.

    He's not as bad as Lawson and that's a plus.

    Shaun Livingston can't shoot either, but GS utilizes his strengths (post ups) and he does just fine for them as a back up. Not advocating the trade, just saying there are plenty of ways to contribute.

    Very true and it's the first thing i thought of. Better passer, defender and rebounder. Those are great traits for teams that play switching defense like we FAIL at trying to do.
