Sources: Houston has started contacting teams about trading Dwight Howard

I love trade deadline season. Love it so much.

 

Just gonna have a 2K replies/100 page thread by Thursday for nothing.

 

It would be trading KJ for some scrub player in final minutes.

 

But in all seriousness, McLemore is definitely worth a look. An athletic wing who can shoot the three. Can handle the ball a little bit too. He would be of more use to us than KJ.

 

Because a Dwight that would otherwise (probably leave) is not as good as getting Melo.

And Melo's contract isn't that bad imo.

Deadline is Thursday at 2 right? I almost need to change my flight on Thursday. Wonder if it will be worth spending a few extra hours in Omaha since there is like two flights a day to DFW. Great...

 

They need to get rid of Scrub Bev or get a real starting PG. Won't win anything with that guy as a starter.

Everyone but Harden should be up for discussion. I am still willing to wait on James to see if he comes in with a more determined mentality for the rest of this season and to start the season next year.

I really do believe we will be about as good without Howard assuming we get a decent backup center. I know many disagree but this is just how I feel. The offense ends up having more flow and we can't step back that badly in regards to defense and defensive rebounding (we already suck with D12.)

We need to take the rest of this year and next year to find out what Capela is. He is extremely young. Need to make sure he can continue to improve consistently. Give him the starting job and 30 MPG.
