Apparently there's a 3 way trade happening where: HOU Dwight -> ATL MIA Dragic+Whiteside -> HOU ATL Horford+Teague -> MIA

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=zhy6j6z i would accept this to build around harden and horford. we get back value
Rockets IN: Kevin Love & Tiago Splitter. Hawks IN: Dwight Howard, Terrence Jones, & Sasha Kaun. Cavs IN: Al Horford & Kyle Korver.
Sure it does. For them, Dragic has been underwhelming and they want to move his deal on. They are also (reportedly) scared of paying Whiteside the max. Give them 2 nice pieces, Teague has a much better payscale than Dragic, and Horford is a nice option to resign and slot in next to Bosh.
Dtitus1 why on earth would Atlanta ship out Teague and Horford for that garbage they're getting in return? Really?
I'd say it would ridiculous for the Nuggets not to take! It's a star power league, you need to have a star or you are irrelevant (see Nuggets, Denver). Griffin has played his best basketball when Chris Paul is out, he looks like a top 5 player everytime he gets that chance. Surely you give up anything to get a top 5 player? If he can't play again this season, you've effectively thrown the rest of the season in the tank and are looking at a top 5 draftpick to go alongside Griffin. I don't see them going anywhere with a Gallo/ Faried led team. Griffin + high pick is a much better option. Losing Jokic may hurt, but then again he might just be a great white hype.
Everything going to be lobsided someone have to lose. i just dont want the rockets to lose the trade lol
Adam Spolane @AdamSpolane I'm told Rockets, Heat, Hawks discussing 3-way. Howard to ATL, Horford and Teague to Mia, Dragic and Whteside, Anderson to Hou.
Why wouldn't the Rockets just do Howard to ATL for Horford and Teague? Would we really need Miami as a middle man? http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=m3zyatp
I am on board with this idea. Fredette and Putney need to be signed, Rockets need better 3 point shooting especially for days when Harden and/or Ariza are cold.
ATL is on losing side of this deal unfortunately. If 3 way does not work, then I would rather just trade directly with Miami. Miami IN: Howard, rights to Llull Houston IN: Whiteside, Deng, McRoberts Would rather have Dragic, but Miami does not give him up unless they get a starting point in return. Then trade TJ, Dekker and filler for Avery Bradley/Terry Rozier and 2nd.
