Lin was a poor fit, basketball-wise...at least with our scheme. Played too many minutes alongside Harden.

Parsons on the other hand really really helped with the ball movement. Ariza has him on defense and contract pricing, but Parsons' ball handling, decision making, and penetration/finishing, is something we noticeably, sorely miss. He seems to get along with a variety of personalities...(Howard, Harden, Lin) although Rockets' fans seem to dislike the Florida-bred Parsons' lack of hometown loyalty to his first employer.

Less talented team, but more watchable. They played like a team to make up for their skill deficit.

This...that old team was surely a fun team to watch and root for, but nowhere as good as the current team

Interesting comment when this is actually much more applicable to last year's team than that year's team.

Dmo is the missing piece. He takes pressure off Harden and he can really pass. I think we took for granted guys like Papa and Dmo who could really pass the ball well. Papa just wasn't that good of a shooter.

Chemistry is not only how good players' abilities fit on the court. It's also the mental aspect.
