Do we have enough assets to get Horford, Teague, and Korver?

I thought about this yesterday and it works on the trade machine:

Lawson, Ariza, DMo, and Capela for Horford, Teague, and Korver

Now initially this seems like a joke but let's dig in a bit.

Ariza for Teague is equal value and the Hawks need a wing and have Schroder ready to go.

Horford is a rental and it seems like the Hawks are believing they will lose him in free agency so a return of two young bigs with upside who can both play center is reasonable.

Korver is the tougher sell here. If they truly want to blow it up and go young then why keep him? Lawson is needed for salary matching and is a no risk non guaranteed contract.

I'd offer picks or Harrell, KJ, Dekker, as they prefer.

Atl out Horford/Teague Atl in Harden/Bev
LAC out Griffin LAC in Horford/TJ/pick?
Rox out Harden/Bev/TJ Rox in Griffin/Teague

    works salarywise...

squeeze Korver for Brewer if we can... still works for salary...

Rubio has my vote if he can significantly help cut the turnovers down.

I don't expect any point guard is going to work next to Harden until and unless Harden changes his game and accepts backup playmaker status and allows a truly great playmaker to become the primary playmaker and feed him (Harden) and Dwight the basketball.

If Harden ever makes that change, Rubio would be the ideal fit next to him. If Harden never makes that change no point guard is going to work great alongside him. And we wont win any championships.

Harden has to change his game for this team to beckett multi-dimensional offensively and to turn the ball over less and keep us out of so much transition defense.

Harden is a truly great play maker.

Avery Bradley, mike Conley, Kyle lowry are just a few pgs that would fit and work great with Harden.

We don't need a pg to win a championship or for Harden to change his role. see Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, wade, LeBron etc...

You've been insanely obsessive with Rubio. He sucks get over it. He's young enough to grow with Minnesota and they want him out. Decent defense and good flashy passing. Horrible offense. His defense and passing isn't so other-worldly to cover up for his horrific shooting.

The league has and is changing, players like Rubio, Lawson and rondo aren't as effective or important anymore.

No ...he is not....NOT EVEN ****ING CLOSE....

His assist to turnover for a primary ball handler and playmaker is crap.

He leads the league in turnovers.

Jeremy Lin has a higher Assist to turnover ratio...

Harden is a DECENT play maker....we need someone ELSE to control the ball and let Harden focus on what he does best....SCORE.

Lol a simple stat doesn't tell the entire story not does it prove play making our lack thereof. Play making doesn't involve just getting assists and if that's what your basing your argument on your plain stupid and not worth talking to.

Granted it is a part of play making and it's Hardens most irritating problem. But you have to realize all greats with high usage by result have more turnovers. Couple that with his constant attacking the rim it's obvious why he averages so many.

Still he can improve and should. Lazy bounces passes are his Achilles heel and the most frustrating. Concentrating on everything going on around him on the court and losing his dribble is another. But he has maybe 2 a game 3 on a bad night.

If that's what I have to live with for a play maker of his caliber than so be it

Sacramento is in bad shape and probably looking to shake up the team a bit. They're so poorly run, we could probably get this done for less from the sheer fact the Terrence Jones and Boogie are friends, but just a thought here. Collison seems like a fit with Harden. Fast, aggressive, can usually hit open shots. McLemore is just a flier on a guy that once was pretty hyped, but his value is almost nada.

Rockets in: Darren Collison, Ben McLemore

Sacramento in: Terrence Jones, Corey Brewer, Future 2nd
