Once again, Charles not doing his homework. Says Daryl Morey threw McHale under the bus by firing him.

WRONG. Pretty sure that came from Les.

I like McHale (not as a coach) - but feel he lacks a certain level of.... class. Not that there's something wrong with that approach generally. It's mild in McHale's case. But it's a bit off putting.

In retrospect I don't feel bad for what happened to him. With JVG and Adelman I feel bad. It stems from how they handle themselves post-firing.

    Lacks "class"?

I don't think McHale has any less class than Alexander and Morey. Hell, Morey talks to anyone and everyone and Alexander went off at the time he fired McHale....... and I don't really have a problem with any of it.

As for Adelman? He didn't keep his mouth shut either.

I still don't get why this is a justifiable defense for the lousy start to the season. The entire point of training camp and preseason is to iron out the kinks and get players into game shape. That way you don't come into the regular season losing 3 straight games by 20 points and then getting blown out at home by half of the Dallas Mavericks roster and a Boston Celtics team that's running on fumes.

The way McHale talks about needing an extra 4-6 weeks to get the team ready is frankly insulting and the epitome of buckpassing. You have 4 weeks to get ready in training camp and preseason. If you fail to take advantage of it, don't be upset when you get your ass sh-tcanned 11 games into the season.
