Well i just recently went to GAMESTOP to get game bucks for my gamecube ,with 2 controllers and a 1game with a memory card and my old playstation1 system. They gave 97 gamebucks, anywas I was just wondering does anyone know any games worth purchasing for my PS2? thanks
if you like baseball, allstar baseball is good, and also madden 2004 is great, im waiting for nba live 2004
Thanks, but im not really of a big football fan, but I do go out and get the new nba 2k series every year
What kind of games are you in to? Sports, RPGs, Action, shooters, what? Maybe even one of those dance games like Britney's Dance Beat? Just kind of hard because I'd probably recommend like 5-10 RPGs and sports games and then learn you just play the NBA2k series and action games or something like that.
I just bought Madden 2004, and am planning on buying NBA live 2004 when it comes out. What kind of games do you like? Give us some help, what is your category? You dont like football....sooooooo,.....what do u like? EDIT: you listed what kind of games you like while Iwas typing up my last post. Disregard.
I'm planning on buying a game this weekend as well. I was thinking about the Resident Evil one that comes with the gun. Dead Aim: http://www.techtv.com/xplay/reviews/story/0,24330,3439109,00.html I was also thinking about Downhill Domination but I'm not so sure about it... Anyone played either of them?
So, I guess Britney's dance beat is out of the question. Maybe that Olsen Twins game will work? J/K. I was reading on the hangout about a game called Disgaea that is an RPG strategy game. Sounds really deep and cool. I'm just too busy to check it out at the moment. There are other RPG's I can think of but they are somewhat old and I figured you'd probably played them already. I don't play many action games, but I watched a friend play Silent Hill 3 and that game is freaking awesome, at least from what I saw. Man, that's all I can think of at the moment for some strange reason. School's been screwing up my video game playing. I'm going to leave it up to someone else to do the rest...of whatever there was.
If you like strategy-RPGs, check out Disgaea. That game rocks. Other good RPGs include Suikoden III and Xenosaga (although the cutscenes in Xenosaga can get quite long). Final Fantasy X is good too but I think it's one of the weaker FFs in the series. Dark Cloud 2 is a good action-RPG that plays kind of similar to a Zelda game. Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance is very good too. Both Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 are very good. Devil May Cry is a good game with heavy focus on action. And then of course there's the hugely popular games like GTA: Vice City and Metal Gear Solid 2.
I also wanted to suggest Disgaea. It took me 89 hours, but I finally beat it Wednesday night, only to find out I can start all over with the end game stats. The replay value on the game is insane. B
Yeah, that games pretty cool. I thought the Disney characters would make it suck, but it wasn't so bad. Plus there are some extras in the end that are somewhat hard to get. In fact, I don't think I ever did beat the secret boss...man, that dude's cool. I probably should buy a used copy of it too. I just had rented it for a while when it came out. If anyone's curious, I think I saw a Halflife mod that had FF characters +Sora VS DBZ characters. However, this was all in the planning stage and I think pics were the only thing. Oh, and and all the games Cold Hard said are good, that I know of anyways.
i would just like to sing PS2's praises and point out that it is extremely badass. after being in awe of GTA3, GTA: VC was just as good and now that i have it up at school instead of my sister having it this year, i've gotten NCAA 2k4 and Gran Turismo. man 2k4 is awesome, already got UTEP ranked in All-American mode after only 4 games. can't believe they actually announce the damn game for you. that's gotta be unbelievably hard to plan out. and i just started into Turismo and it is most excellent. i've only had 4 games, but they've all been top-freakin-notch. carry on.
