Thats good news for Baddy. Hell be able to get the PT he needs to develop.

Sitting him on the bench all year would have accomplished nothing in comparison to real game action.

I was wondering, if we were at a PF shortage; could we sign him up for a couple of games?

Well, if it helps him improve his game, I think it's the best for him. They should of done the same for Nachbar.

The NBA is in dire need of a true development league to which they can assign players :(.

The NBDL isn't good enough because a team can't maintain their rights on a player and let him season in the dev league, waiting to be called up to the big leagues.

I'm glad Badiane will be overseas. When we do bring him over, our window of exclusivity will open on a more developed player and we'll be better able to judge whether to keep him or let him go.

Good to see we are the only ones choosing to send our talented 2nd rounder to Europe. Knicks must have missed something.

The Knicks' 2nd rounder was high-first round material. Badiane ain't.

Good to see that you think Badiane should be on the team since you have obviously seen him play in person and think he is NBA ready.

Good to see that you continue to insinuate that anyone that coaches the Rockets is clueless.

Good to see that you still believe that all rookies are created equal.

    ;) :p

Nachbar was a first round pick. Consequently, he gets a guaranteed three year contract.

Does anybody know if tha also means a roster spot for three years too? Can we pay him and cut him to free up a roster spot?

Yes. Free up the roster spot but not the cap.
