Me and my friends were talking at school today, and we were wondering, will/should Kobe play against the Nuggets when the game comes up this season? My vote goes to "no". I think it would actually be dangerous for Kobe to play in Colorado while all of this is going on, and knowing how stupid people can be nowadays, somebody would probably try and pull something stupid. Then I got to thinking, if Kobe did play against the Nuggets, he could probably end up dropping like, 70 points on them out of pure anger towards the state alone! So what do you all think?
I think its one of those thing you have to wait and see on... If it turns out that Kobe is innocent then there is no reason he shouldn't play... On the other hand if he plays and ends up being guilty then he is a scumbag anyways and should be done for good IMO.
Kobe won't go to trial until the next NBA season is over. And honestly, the way some of the people in this state have responded, it wouldn't surprise me to see Kobe cheered at the game.
Not only should he play the nuggets, he should play FOR the nuggets so that he won't violate his parole after he is released....
I dont really know what to think.. I dont live in denver so i wouldnt know what to say... But it wouldnt be cool to turn our backs to Kobe becuz some people do worst things and they are forgiven... so i think kobe should be forgiven too...
The fact that people gave him a standing ovation when he left the courtroom made me almost vomit. I don't know if he did it or not, but I sure as hell am not cheering for an attempted rapist.
I imagine Bryant will have some beefed-up security for the season and that the Nuggets will also increase security when the Lakers come to town. He'll be protected. If he doesn't play because of this, we should get some Houston girl to accuse him of rape to help the Rockets get a couple more wins on the season.
Well, Nuggets fans have cheered for worse things than an attempted rapist before, like......................the Nuggets...
last i heard it was the prosecuting attorneys and the victims family members who were receiving the death threats. the most dangerous thing kobe will ever be involved in is his drive to work everyday.
Dude sometimes we do bad stuff and we expect to be forgiven... I mean maybe not as bad as rape, but we do stupidities and sometimes we like to be forgiving.. I mean he admitted he comitted adultery, how do we know the rape was true... no one is perfect, and no one ever will be..
If I were Kobe, I would demand the Lakers trade me to Denver. Then no one on the jury would vote to convict (and face having their new star go to jail for many years). Better to end up playing in Denver than in the Colorado State Penitentiary exercise yard.
Personally, I think Kobe owes to his teammates to sit out until the circus is outta town. He's going to be a *HUGE* distraction to his team.
Then we all deserve them... You act as if Kobe is the only one that does bad things... You dont even know if he raped the girl yet you are accusing him... And commiting adultery, i dont think lots of ppl even deserve to say anything cuz almost or more than half of this world has done it..
