I got to watch a few games here and there too. From my bobcats friends (I guess we call them hornets now), Lin is supposedly their 3rd best player/contributor for the season behind Kemba and Batum. I'm not surprised to see why he gets lots of minutes and end game minutes at all.
I can see how they get that perception. However, when Big Al is in the lineup, the offense is completely different and lends itself more to a super-quick Kemba, and better spot up shooters/creators like Nic Batum and MGK. I just don't see JLin being in that upper echelon of their team when everyone is healthy.
Say what you want about the flaws and inconsistencies in Lin's game, but the guy plays with heart. Something that this year's Rockets could use a little more of.
I think that's fair. But he's only getting $2m/year so is on a great contract for being to 4-5 best player on the team. He belongs in the nba no matter what people like tin man says. He's contributing to a winning team and contributed to our past team too just not equal to his value then once it got more than $5m. He came to the bobcats because he needed a decent role to show he still can contribute and grow, and that's what he's doing. I don't blame him for his crazy fans or for the crazy haters either.
It's a bit rich for a person who has made 1555 of the 7601 posts in the Jeremy Lin thread over 214 days to accuse others of being chickens following Lin around. 1555 posts in the Lin thread over a 214 day period translates to 7.27 posts per day in the Jeremy Lin thread or one Jeremy Lin post every 3.3 hours (counting both normal waking and sleeping hours).
I'm just trying to fry the chickens these are free range chickens from new york, california, hong kong, and taiwan. there's a huge demand for chicken, original recipe, spicy, or stir fried
Whaaaa? Why wouldn't you want one of the "last" that can play with his back to the basket and score off of a variety of moves? Why wouldn't you want a big that can step back and nail a 16 footer? I know he's had conditioning issues, but when Al is on, he's 20/10 easy.
I'm just basing this off of the what I've heard from Hornets fans. I haven't watched them enough to know exactly why they don't want him. Guess he's been pretty bad this year.
