Surely wouldn't be average, but in Golden State he's a Top 15 player. I'm not sure he reaches that level elsewhere, though that's very debatable.
You say that and I would generally agree in nearly all cases, but that's the only way teams are going to be able to beat the Warriors in a series until we get the next Shaq/Kareem/Hakeem in the NBA. Slow the game down as much as possible and isoball.
He won't be an all-star anywhere else. Players like Green blossom based on system. Defensively, he would still be great anywhere else. But his offensive prowess is overrated.

WB in a subpar shooting game is outscoring and outassisting Curry while HAVING to chase him around screens all night. Curry has guarded WB like 35-40% of the game. Curry simply has the better team.
