Warriors play excellent team/help defense... it doesn't really matter as much on the one-on-one matchups.

Suns score 12 in the first quarter; down by 19 to the Jazz

I think this will end up being an easy win for the Warriors. OKC got off to a good start, but the Warriors will prove once again they are head and shoulders above every other team in the league. It just looks so easy for the Warriors.

I don't think there's an offense in the NBA that wouldn't pick Houston apart...

That's not true. They have 3 elite one-on-one defenders in Klay, Green, and Bogut. Then you have Iggy off the bench. That makes it easy to hone in on teams that have 1-2 good scorers.

But many elite individual defenders allow them to play better help D.

Man I watch other teams and their bigs hardly ever hedge on the 3pt line on PNR.

They usually just play em for the Midrange shot until the other player can recover

Rockets used to do that. Dont know why JB keeps making us have our bigs at the 3pt line. It gets exposed after the the first couple plays

I wouldn't go as far as say Klay is an elite defender. Both Klay and Curry are average defenders but they know their scheme and know where to funnel people. Most importantly, they try.

Green and Bogut are two of the best at their positions though.

Thunder played well. Warriors play better. It's like they never miss.

They play elite help D... the one-on-one matchups don't really matter as much.

The Spurs also play elite help D... and they have terrible one-on-one defenders.

You'll rarely see a missed rotation or just pure laziness... and somehow, it doesn't effect their energy level on the offensive end.

If they continue at this exact pace... the Warriors win by 20.

Curry can't defend. He rarely guards the opposing PG if that PG has some scoring capabilities. Klay does that.

You're asking Klay to guard both guard positions and sometimes SFs. He's an elite defender if you watch his defense.

Plus, notice Kerr rarely sends help to Klay's man, regardless if that guy is an elite player or not. Rarely. That's the trust Kerr has with Klay.
