This and the constant switching. Do these morons never watch film? Hell, do they not watch the game live and see their defensive gameplan doesn't work? Teams are killing out guys off the dribble because we swipe for the ball looking for steals. Or they beat a taller defender off the dribble because we're always switching at the 3-point line. This results in easy layups or wide open jumpers.

It's not working, so STOP DOING IT!!!

I fell asleep in the 3rd quarter.

 

Bad free throw shooting team. bad defensive team due to transition mostly and mostly mechanical robotic offensive players that can't create their own shots. This is a triple headed monster of the negative kind...not gonna bring up coaching to make a Quad Godzilla of an issue. Heck if we could transform 1 of the 4 MAJOR problems maybe we'd see a transformation but Damn they haven't yet. Insane

 

BTW - that is TWO games this year where JTerry has a wide open shot to take the lead late in a game and bricked.

He is done like dinner.

Harden and Ariza were actually not that bad in the final couple of minutes. But zero rim protection and zero rebounding

Pretty much. I guess at this point the team has just giving up on playing defense. Maybe some individual players will try hard, but overall they're not making any effort as a unit. It's probably for the best. JB needs to go and there need to be some personnel changes. This kind of loss can be a nice reality check for Morey and Les.

We had a 6 point before they started hacking Capella. I see why you would want to leave Dwight in there, but leave Capella in there? Why, and then took him out when they couldn't hack him anymore, when we could use a big body to shut the lane and set picks for Harden, and took Capella out, and then send Smith in for the last play. Wow. Just dumb clueless moves.

I feel like you're ignoring the fact that JS was left cold on the bench during Capella's error-fest, and when he came in, he definitely didn't have a rhythm. Despite the shot being at 2 feet, with bodies flying at you, trying to fix James' miss, that's not an easy shot...even at JSmoov's height.

It was definitely rushed. I'm not excusing the miss, but there was more behind it than some people are acknowledging.

I shudder when I think about a missed free throw, a tech here and there, or the miscommunication on Dudley's layup changed the entire outcome.
