i dont know why anybody has expectations for this scrub team. ive watched more games lately because Smoove came back and he makes the team fun but a team lead by James Harden and a rookie interim coach isnt going anywhere. the season was already over after our first lost to the Nuggets

 

I almost clicked the .500 option but then opted for beer.

The expectations are the problem. As I've grown older, I've increasingly become able to enjoy imperfect seasons for the journey, if not end result. Some of those above-average Rockets teams from a few years ago were lots of fun, even though chasing the 7th or 8th seed was the most anyone expected. This team isn't really much worse, but the expectations were so much higher.

And, it doesn't help that this team's fatal flaw seems to be that it's best player is essentially a lackadaisical narcissist on the court.

 

well at least we didnt get blown out by 100. i mean i know 30 is bad but its not that bad. even 50 isnt that bad at all. its just 50 points.
im not sure how clutchfans would react to a 100 point loss. lot of pple might end up in jail or dead i assume.

team is not championship caliber. Should be #Pathetic instead #Pursuit. Seriously. This lineup is underachiving, and they are better than this.. Its just sad.... good luck fans.

heard them talking about some new info. on the chargers and raiders relo yesterday...

 

McHale being gone gives me hope we get a top notch coach this summer, i saw this as a lost season before we even fired him. I saw last season as a fluke and they only proved me right this season. An alpha coach, and a chance to retool or even bring in some big guns in what is sure to be a wild off season will be great. There's a lot of great all star level players that can make us great as a team and just 1 pipedream of Durant. Even if we lose Dwight, there are many replacements out there this summer.

All i need to see right now is Morey unloading Brewer and McDaniels. If he can't get a trade for either TJones or Dmo, oh well, just let them walk or hope you can retain DMO on a cheap deal bc of his back, but as a backup to hopefully an all star level starting PF we sign.

Hate saying that every year since 95-96 season. Morey needs to get this team the much needed help this season. Can't guarantee Dwight will even be back next season.
