    makes me feel bad for trashing him so much over the years

    i just hope hes awesome for the celtics this year. alcoholism is the only reason i coud think of to change my mind about vin baker. guess the rest is up to him

    Interesting how the guy he was traded for, Shawn Kemp, was also accused of being an alcoholic by Pete Vescey. When that deal was made I thought Seattle were geniuses. They had that contract squabble with Kemp and basically had to dump him. I thought it was amazing they ended up with Baker. Man, look at those two guys...started out so promising.

    You are right again - Shawn Kemp, once this name gave me a thing you get before goosebumps. Amazing player. "Reign Man" let it melt on your tongue. I was amazed by that guy in the mid nineties. I often take him when making fantasy teams on PS2 to dunk the **** out of my opponents. RIP.

    Look at the third pirson that was involved in that three way trade, Terrell Brandon. His career fell off sharply also. Those guys were just doomed from the start, I guess.
